Iâll be honest I did think Blizzard were trying to hit a bit of a diversity quota with her at first, not because I view that as an inherently bad thing but because that is the sort of cynical thing that a company might push onto others.
But Iâm glad they decided to make one of the most notable Arathi characters a PoC because we saw what happened when they didnât with the Scarlet Crusade and all the weirdos that invited.
Probably not an intended consequence of Faerinâs design, but one that I am very happy to welcome.

I meant the GAMERS⢠calling her trans. Its a very well known thing in sports that BIPOC women get their gender questioned more than white women because they donât hold up to these idiotâs very white woman standard of beauty.

Got the new Age of Mythology, when it boots up itâs mega off centred on my screen and because of it I canât actually click anything. What the hell.
Finished Coruscant as Jedi Knight. It is⌠okay. I enjoyed most of it (except the region main quest with the droids).

Finished building my first unit of 12 Dwarf Warriors, just need to do the movement tray tomorrow.
Downside of the older kits; mould lines are a bit more obnoxious/not as well hidden, and there really arenât that many pieces per sprue - optimisation hadnât happened on some of them by that point!
Upsides; a lot simpler to assemble, and fast. Still tons of character and enough options/more if youâre inventive with snips and a hobby knife. And that wonderful, familiar Old World vibe.
Now⌠do I build unit 2, or do I sidestep into one of the ranged units?
Know what Old World needs? Halflings. And gnomes.

seamless co-op has gotten to Leyndell. We havenât cleared out every little cave mainly because while I am happy to do that, that is not everybodyâs cuppa and if we need to farm souls, Iâd rather just take us the bird in Mogwyn Palace.
We have done most of the shard bearing bosses (missing Rykard) though and Rennala was awful.

I already wasnât really enjoying TWW all that much (I donât think itâs bad, itâs just not for me) and was figuring Iâd just see the campaign through and maybe the. Iâd start enjoying myself.
Then I do a Delve and thereâs a whole conversation going on in General about wokeness and how DEI is killing games. I sighed and rolled my eyes and got on with it.
Then I get to Hallowfall and the chat is just the same thing, people jumping down the throats of anyone arguing against them, etc.
And that, honestly, is what made me unsub and uninstall immediately. There are some great people in this game, especially in the RP community, but I just really cannot stand a large portion of this gameâs community.
The good parts used to keep me around, but I have less interest in those now and the OOC community seems to be getting worse by the day.

PayPal refuses to pay today, saying âSorry, we werenât able to authorize your cardâ, even though Iâve paid with this card before (including via PayPal) and it worked just yesterday.
This even though I have enough PayPal balance that I could pay with the balance alone without charging the card.
It feels like PayPalâs reliability has got worse in the last couple of years. I get random unexplained errors depending on the phase of the moon and the weather on Mars.
Wait, awful as in hard or? Not to naysay, just out of all the bosses Iâve always found her to be the one to cheat the least
