Pet peeves: The return (Part 9)

Never heard of GreedFall at all, what’s it like?

This was a huge factor yeah, and while I tried to play it after it was “fixed” it still felt like a very janky package and not very cool to play.

I didn’t make it very far before I figured it wasn’t going to be for me. Inquisition at least felt relatively smooth and bug free, it just dragged it’s heels a lot.

Bioware and making the character I want to romance unromanceable. Why do they keep doing it.

Wynne.
Aveline
Vivienne

Imma be honest people say the caves etc are the worst parts of DA2 but their not.

Its the fight against the Arishok as a mage or a rogue. I will not hear otherwise.

They didn’t let us kiss Nyreen in Mass Effect 3.

I was livid.

One of the better ones, since rival romance was a thing.

I’ll toss out a recommendation for Greedfall 1 - it was a bit jank, but if you wanted “Age of Sail New World Explorer Dragon Age With Guns By A Much Smaller Company” then it’s really quite enjoyable.

Also even though you end up as part of a colonial effort you can end up siding with the natives, and I’m pretty sure that’s the ending I chose to go with.

I’m hopeful the sequel will stand up.

Arishok fight looks very cool in the cinematic trailer.

The reality is me running around the room trying to not get hit while I throw as many spells as I can before he reaches me.

Benny Hill ahh moment

Exactly its so mind numbingly unfun.

Me when Tali and Jack continue to be heterosexual. The citadel dlc said VERY OTHERWISE.

Bioware forever doing sapphics dirty with one good romance option per game usually. DA: I was rare in that…

Mage Hawke x Fenris and Do-Gooder Hawke x Isabela, nothing better than those rivalries that involved kissing.

There’s a part in the Fem Hawke/Isabelle romance where she pushes you up against a wall, and I just can’t think anymore.

this is what i get for accidentally getting into the tragedy romances first

First one is a number of years old now, it wasn’t a massive success but had its moments, it’s more of a fantasy enlightenment age setting, science/progress versus nature deal mixed with colonialism.

Mad that they’re still selling it for full price, but it’s current one of the freebie games on Prime Gaming, so if you have amazon prime you can pick it up for free https://gaming.amazon.com/greedfall-gold-edition-gog/dp/amzn1.pg.item.7aedd799-b6db-4a99-8bde-91e97785391a

adding ‘volus biotic’ to my Mass Effect TTRPG party

(I am, of course, an Elcor heavy gunner)

I think Veilguard might be the first Dragon Age where I am happy with my romance choice.

Leliana didn’t do it for me and Morrigan was too mean and I hadn’t entered my “step on me” era yet. Also she can turn into a spider and you all know how I feel about that.

Didn’t like Isabella that much and Meryl felt like a weird romance choice, partly because she felt very young and easily influenced which is a power dynamic I didn’t like, but mostly it was because she was Welsh

I reluctantly romanced Cassandra in Inquisition, but I didn’t vibe with any of the choices here either.

At least in Veilguard Harding is already an option and unless one of the other certified baddies can impress me she’s locked in.

I love that in the N7 5e edition, Elcor gets heavy turrets mounted to their backs.

Thanks for the tip!
