Saw the Fextralife DA: Veilguard preview and it has never been so unimaginably over for me. Seeing Warriors forced into 100 magic skills like calling down swords from the sky, teleporting into the sky and becoming meteors etc., my brother in the Maker these are all Mage and Magic abilities which I should not be doing or have access too as a Warrior. Begone, foul destruction of the worldbuilding.
Also everyone has giant bobbleheads and tiny bodies and it bothers me to no end.
Him and Morgot used to live down there. Omen in the capital generally get banished to the sewers. Common birth Omen also have their horns carved out. If youâre royal you get to keep them but still have to life down there. (And maybe still get hunted by an Omen Killer)
The Mohg in the sewers is an illusion - probably made by Morgott - to protect the entrance heâs in front.
You picked an ending of the change category, also youâre married
this also got me yeah. i was thinking about playing a warrior but i really donât like what theyâve become in veilguard, and i donât think itâs explained by way of inquisition where you actually have some kind of superpower to pull off some of the feats you can
usually i go mage though so iâm just going to stick with that i think.
cool i guess. she seems nice, welsh though again i think which is concerning
Fextralife has a bit of notoriety on that when a game is due to come out, they rush out a page to be âfirstâ.
Often with completely inaccurate details. Some games like the souls series have received decent updates, but there are many games where the Fextralife pages are either flat out false information or dead ends and simply there for the sake of getting clicks and ad revenue. The Owlcat/Pathfinder games are good examples as many pages are just empty.
Thereâs also been a lot of drama with falsifying numbers and harassment of other wiki creators. Often to get rid of âcompetitionâ.
Users have also complained that the head of the site often changes back updated information to their âvisionâ rather than accuracy.
There are a lot of deep dives that dig into the shadier parts of the site as a whole.
It feels deeply icky and against the spirit of Thedas as a world. Magic is rare and reserved to Mages (and item enchantment for Dwarves). Everyone having intense amounts of magic now like calling down celestial bodies, impaling people on 100 foot swords, invoking the Maker (confirming he exists, ew) to call down holy fire. It all just feels really off, like a casualisation of Dragon Age into something more malleable and blank without a firm identity.
the man has an underground blood cult that probably does really heinous stuff already, is this really the straw thatâs breaking the camels back? he seemed like a bad dude from the off
shame. but doesnât seem to be any different from a lot of the other websites in the game, the amount of times that iâve gone to an IGN walkthrough for a game to find links that go nowhere or very bare details and vague instructions is infuriating
give me back my piggyback games physical walkthrough
As of recently (late 2023), Fextralife has allegedly been blacklisted as a source from BG3âs subreddit because the owner/lead of the site was found to be harassing people who posted details to other wikiâs instead of it. The harassment ranged from alleged threats, spam downvotes of posts that didnât link to Fextralife, and ddosing the websites.
Oh I saw that earlier this morning and I just scratched my head like, Iâve not dipped into the FF RP scene at all but itâs a really weird thing to be picky about, dark skinned Elezen or something.
Thereâs also been complaints that a majority of the videos played on the site (Such as the streams or videos on pages for information) were taken without consent, and several people have reportedly openly said they donât work with Fextralife and have asked for those videos to be removed.
