Another one of those moments that never saw the light of day, but made for some interesting and heated discussion internally. We thought it would be interesting if you gained enough power you could name yourself Divine. It would be twice as hard to do if you played as a male, and for the hardcore player it would twice as hard again to do it as a male Qunari. An effectively game and lore breaking act of heresy. Not even a little bit surprised we backed away from this one.
I understand why they backed off but man would it have been a cool “this will never be actual dragon age canon what-if” option.

yeah in that it would have been fine imo, almost like those DLC episodes they released for Origins in the day. I get why they didnt because they dont particularly like giving the player too much power in the event player choices contradict future storylines (A pro mage divine ending the debate with templars then and there.), the human noble only being a king/queen consort in origins.
give me the power to make state decisions bioware im normal and can be trusted with religious influence

The Darkspawn DLC was such a weird and wonderful little nugget and it is kind of a bummer they didn’t do anything similar since.
Releasing “The Divine Heretic” DLC which is branded as “this is an evil option for bad guys doing bad things” honestly…probably wouldn’t have sold that well, given how evil options usually get picked in video games, but still, it would’ve been neat.

we missed out without them. the deeproads expedition as a random dwarf warden was also p. fun and kinda dark from what i remember. they had plenty characters in DA 2 they could have continued the trend with. fenris’ escape from tevinter, focus on varric pre-hawke. you got gold just sitting right there.
The Harvester boss is also one of the most toughest enemies in the series if you play on the harder difficulties.
Absolute menace but cool fight.

Some helldiver players are such babies man, they encounter the slighest bit of inconvenience (die once, see a strategem jammer at all) and they just immediately quit out.

Really lame gameplay wise in all the games.
You’re supposed to be incredibly powerful and draw life from people… but you’re not a knight enchanter, so get in the bin.

Early mmo grinds always amuse me. I just grinded Rivendell rep for the mount and honestly… my expectations were higher.

Cutter’s Cry for levelling roulette. We get to the last boss and since we have a new player I say ‘violet = move close, blue = run away’. They all proceeded to get hit by every mechanic with me as their baby healer.

Playing through XCOM 2.
Made all my soldiers into clones, excluding a few jedi (yes I star warsed my side of the fence.)
I’m enjoying it.
Second kill on LFR Ansurek, got mount
She was like “here, take this and then leave me alone”

Heart of Thorns is such a great story, and Mordremoth is a really cool design and concept for an elder dragon!

not to mention that as a sylvari hes regularly trying to take your mind as well. hes a rare case of a big threat that lived up to the hype. “jungle” dragon is so cool
