My experiences with huntsman spiders have taken the sharpest edge off my fear of spiders. I still don’t like them tho. A big fat housespider will have me hyperventilating for a minute, and then I’ll go fetch a glass to catch it and deposit it safely outside. Brrr. BRRR.

We don’t get wild snakes here just see them at the zoo. I’d be scared of them out in the world cos they are dangerous!
Not really, they are usually very shy of humans but again… Humanity and it’s incessant need to “dominate” dictates they either destroy their natural habitats or just have to poke them with sticks then wonder why the snake says “yeah that’s enough of that, I have tried again and again to tell you to leave me alone but you just wouldn’t listen” and retaliates in the only way it can. Spiders coming into your house is annoying but spiders like most creatures, are doing what they can to survive.
If anything, they are a positive boon.
Oh I would never, that’s just people being dumb nasty eejits.
Spiders may stay at the hotel but they have to keep to their room, and no dancing on the ceiling!
I now see spiders in a house as a guy ordering room service and answering the door naked except for a cunningly placed toilet roll with glitter on it. I can now see why people feel the need to batter them to death with a broom.

Spiders don’t feed on people. They feed on things that feed on people. I leave them alone cause I don’t mind their aspect. My wife freaks out at the sight of them and considers them dirty insects, she won’t accept the fact that they clean up the insects that suck your blood or put their eggs in your skin.
I’m in favour of tough love, myself. I was stabbed a few years back and the sight of knives still bothers me but I’d never think to request that knives are removed from the game.
