Phobias & WoW

I read this as gelatophobia - Fear of ice cream.

fear of rejection is the most popular debuff we have which is why we have spiritual and motivational leaders telling us to over come it all.

I’m now going to find a video of a spider cleaning its chelicerae…

On second thought, here’s a helpful diagram of spider anatomy.

did you draw this wonderful art?

Common sense response? I’d say its more of a gift from our ancestors; just a legacy animal reaction to be alert to specific danger patterns.

We all know that hearing that steath sound tends to mean an attack is coming!

I believe its called ‘Ohcrapaphobia’

If you have all those phobias is good to see a doctor to help you with them, cause they going to affect your life all the time.

And what? Get the phobia injection? I’m afraid it’s not that easy. Some are uncurable, some are manageable, some can be removed, but I honestly don’t believe you need a doctor for it.

Good job we aren’t friends RL, i have 2 tarantulas residing with me…

Used to have a Royal Python and a Boa Constrictor- best pets ive ever had

Did you take them for walks and have them fetch sticks for you?

Nice summary of a tarantula, but for one thing- the urticating hairs are on the abdomen, they use their 4th set of legs to flick them out. Tgats why sometimes in zoos you see them with bald patches on the abdomen

I know you’re being sarcastic, Deja but no - however they put the :poop:up any trick or treaters on Halloween

I don’t mind tarantulas as much cos they’re slow and furry. It’s the small ones with spindly legs that go really fast! I have calmed myself a bit by giving them names based on size and talking to them, house rules are no moving in front of me and no being on the ceiling!!!

Also I think snakes are beautiful and I have great respect for them.

I miss the banana spiders from Florida… Big spiders… but nowhere as dangerous as these little fellas…

Always had to check for them when we went looking for firewood or doing yard work.

My closest experience with a snake was when a cottonmouth was in my back yard and my dogs were barking at it, got them inside and called the City Animal control, they came and bagged it and released it into the swamp about two miles from where I lived at the time. No idea how it got there, it was the first time I saw one in like 3 years living in that neighbourhood. If it bit me it wouldn’t have killed me but it would have killed my dogs and given me a lot of pain and medical bills.

I find a severed head on the driveway works just as well, then I don’t have to put up with snakes for the other 364 days of the year.

Sorry but no. There comes a point where catering to every whim out there is just detracting from the game.
