PI- remove it or keep it

I am still baffled that Blizz did not see this in Beta. It was clear as day it would be impossible to balance Aug. I gave my feedback on the Beta, and like me, there were many others.

So I dont know how is it that Aug exists in the first place.

I don’t really care if PI exists or not, I care that priest as a class appears to be lacking class / expansion features because of it.

Oracle’s biggest issue is that, from the perspective of the priest, it doesn’t do anything. It’s like wearing the twins legendary in Shadowlands.

Why on tanks. I do it on my top dps if he Can use it.

No, this is exactly why I like evokers while I hate pi.

If you disable your damage meter, you cannot TELL if an evoker is buffing you or not. Your gameplay does not change one bit, apart from seeing bigger numbers. Their smaller “buffs” are 3% crit and 3% vers, which theoretically would change abit the rotation of frost dks or fire mages, but I do not play those specs to have an opinion.

On the other hand, pi with its mini bl window, changes how my character feels.

You know all those discussions are irrelevant after looking at the new priest hero talents: there is your answer.

Oh no, muh haste buff on 1 singular player!

It’s way more than 3% Vers at this point, which is part of the problem with augmentation. Sure your gameplay doesn’t change with or without one but you are significantly more durable.

I love how it’s just assumed people have watched the video…

PI is fine.

PI’s lame. Either they should rework it to behave similarly to HPally’s Blessing of Summer (where the damage gets added to your overall), or they should make it self-cast only. A flat haste buff is boring and just leads to situations where a spec’s performance will drastically change based on if they have PI used on them or not (such as Sin rogue, which ended up getting nerfed because of it).

Inner goblin awakes

Hello, I like money.

Well, as you said gameplay doesn’t change, so fine by me.

I do not mind having in the game DR cds or auras (like palas or rogues, or healer externals), as long as it doesn’t change the feeling on my spec.

remove it, its not a fun button to press so it must go. wow has too many buttons that arent fun to press.

dps cooldowns should be fun - wings, hero etc. power infusion is the least fun button to use on my priest.

Well you will be doing more, with or without damage meters… And considering how Augmentation completely overtook when introduced I would argue its a bit more than “You wont notice them if you just disable damage meter”…

But maybe your words are literal, and you just don’t like the feeling of the external power rather than the external power affecting your character?

That’s exactly what I was saying.

If you disable your dmg meter/combat text, can you feel it when you get blood lust? I pretty much can, because my character feels 30% faster.

Now imagine if that buff was 30% crit or 30% versa. Would you still be able to tell that you had the buff without checking your numbers?

This is what I mean by feeling. As long as PI/evokers or other thing just buff the power of my character , I am fine with it. If on the other hand change how it feels to play, then I dislike that.

If it was crit yes because lots of specs have interactions with crit that increase or refund resources. If it was Vers I wouldn’t be able to tell on my damage but I’d be taking significantly less damage meaning I’d need less defensives and be able to do harder content, something aug enabled for all of S2 and is a problem still with their current design.

100% yes!!

I see! Okay, then I misunderstood first, apologies for that! I took your “feeling” more of a power as well, and not as a literal term, which is of course my bad for doing so

People just assume everyone’s doing the same as themselves. I’m guilty of it myself sometimes.

keep it want keep my persnol bl thx u very much

hes not the only one talking about that abomination.

that ability is bad and should be removed, it doesnt feel good to use so it must go. abilities should be impactful and fun to use
