As Shadazzle explained flagging will be done by members of the forums, then a moderator will review it and will judge whether it’s breaking any community rules and take any necessary action or unflag it if it’s within the Code of Conduct.

Sometimes topics are flagged for the wrong reasons. It is unfortunate that that this happens. However they are also frequently flagged for justified reasons, like if they break the CoC.

I can’t remember the opening post off the top of my head but usually it’s fairly obvious if any rule breaking has occurred or not.

Circumventing the language filter would be my guess. And yes it breaks CoC.

I see no expression that could be offensive enough to break the CoC, do you? Unless you mean that the comments are the reason why it was flagged.

I am not going to repeat the rule breaking line but I can explain it is a swear word which has bypassed the filter by removing a letter or two.

he circumvented the swear word filter in line 6. i assume thats what got him flagged.

The reason there is toxicity is that the community is divided by young and angst players VS older and bitter ones.

So there is a big social divide in how we behave together.

Have you tried putting 20 year olds and 40 year olds together in a party? They mostly socialise apart from eachother because they dont relate much together and will just cause a fuss.

I think he could have made the thread without bypassing the filter and it still would have been flagged. That’s happened before.

Any thread with criticisms like that tends to hit the fan, whether it be mass flagging or arguments on the forums.

He actually used a censored word and removed a letter from it. This is not allowed.

Wasnt like this for a very long time, it was completely automated in the start

It started to feel like harassment when i had to open so many tickets about fixing my ticket ban because some sensetive snowflake got offended by my tame joke T_T

No it doesn’t, behaviour cannot be deemed as toxic if the rules implicitly allows it.

So stop trying to impose onto others your sense of morality.

Just play the game as you see fit within the rules that governs it.

From what I remember, the reporting system is based on the number of reports. Meaning if you get together 5 players and get them to report 1 player, the player gets auto silenced.
This was the case last year, and I haven’t heard or read anything that have changed this.

You have all my support freedom of speech WHATEVER the cost, this is frm someone coing back from another unjustified ban because I said i woud feel ripped off if I were to buy shadowlol and that it looked like crp and good news : No amount of punishment or anything is gonna make me change my mind , I will not buy it and think it is crp !

There is a cost though and that’s what people need to recognise, freedom to say anything you wish is something that few if anybody can say they have. You can say what you please of course, but you have to accept there are consequences. So I could start swearing on the forum if I wanted to, but in doing this I have to accept the consequence in that I may receive a ban.

I am not saying this is what happened to you btw, I am just using an example :slight_smile:

I am not sure which thread you refer to but on the whole the threads I have seen that call out toxic behaviour are usually well received and tend to get the support of a lot of posters. If the flagging system was abused then the Mods will review and unflag the post.
