Thats it!

I QUIT!

The behaviour of the people in this thread towards me over the past few days as absolutely killed my passion for this game.

It has become very clear the WoW community just isn’t for me anymore.

There was once a time when we enjoyed action and adventure. Now it seems all the community wants to do is Dress their barbie dolls and hang curtains. I just don’t share that incentive.

I have done my best to describe how this will ruin the game. And all that has happened is that I have been the target of name calling and abuse. One person in this thread called my Donald Trump, and another has admitted to stalking my public profiles.

Quit frankly I want no part of this community if it’s heading in this direction. And I don’t really have the time to be shedding so many tears over a computer game, let alone a toxic environment.

That is a loyal player of 20 years, deleting all their characters, moving their gold (on one character) to throw away email and Authenticator, and throwing everything away. I will never come back.

Congratulations, as a community you have caused a long time player to leave the game forever.

I think I like this iteration most, though I admit I’ve had my large share of fun with largers systems too.

Basically what I’m thinking of it something like this:

Fully customizable. Bonus if the exterior is customizable too!

Yavin is HUGE, like Tattooine not to mention the Alderaan one
That is a bit too much
But Nar Shadda, Coruscant and Dormund was nice
My favorite is the Nar Shadda stronghold, it is quite comfortable and open to both sides
Managed to bag early a few slot machines and always open for visitors to gamble their heart away for tokens

That could actually be a thing in WoW housing if implemented: You go to someone’s home and let’s say you completely love what they did. You could get a code (much like with talents) and enter that code in your own home and it would place everything in the same way automatically.

Of course the exception is for things you didn’t own; those would be left blank. But that could actually be an interesting way to share entire interiors with others.

Well now noone can say nothing positive came of this thread.

No. Though I did make certain to pick out mission followers that I wanted to see walking around.

Fair. The aesthetic doesn’t bother me but between the two WoW definitely has a bolder, more fantastical style to it.

I also like the way elves look a lot more here…

Sure it is.

Reps were there from the start, I only got most of them exalted a few years ago. I did Orgrila and Netherwing a few years ago for instance.
Achievements were added in Wrath but I didn’t really start doing them until much later.
Transmog came in Cata, I started farming mogs in MOP.
Pet Battles were added in MOP, I didn’t start doing them until I found the Falcasaur event late in Legion or early BFA.
I did all the holiday events only a few years ago.

I’ve never even tried M+. I’ve never stepped foot into the Mage Tower (not even once to see what the decor was).

There are loads of things in game that I ignored for years. Some I started later and some I’ve never done (never done Arcaelogy).

…now I’m going to have to resist the urge to reinstall and play it again.

I made an entire smuggler’s paradise type hideout in the Tattooine one. It was more like an entire village than a home. But it was fun to make.

But yes, a lot of those strongholds’ sizes can be overwhelming.

Do they offer different biomes? I’ve not played SWTOR since it launched.

I also think we’d see things akin to transmog competitions, people showing off their homes.

It’s a ā€˜house’ on the different planets, so each one does have a completely unique looks/atmosphere (based off of the planet).

Yes
Tatooine is desert, Yavin is rainforest jungle
Alderaan is a snwoy montain
Nar Shadda is neon and orange megacity

It’s funny we’re talking about Enshrouded on discord and now I have the urge to go play again :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

It seems everyone keeps forgetting that Emberthal is the absolute authority and voice on this game when it comes to ā€œplayersā€.
Just face it lot, you’re not real players.

Just makes me endlessly jealous at people’s ability. I make a nice, neat, square house with all my stuff aligned just so and then someone makes something that looks REAL and authentic and I just go…
WELL THEN!

Sounds like a lovely variety of terrains then!

When RIFT introduced player housing, people were always showing off what they’d managed to create with the most horrendously basic creation tools. You’d see screenshots on forums, reddit etc.

And ofc people listed their homes to the public so anyone could come see. I’m not that way inclined myself. I just want my own space, maybe invite friends round. Had a blast going to friends housing in FF.

Shame I didn’t really take to either game :dracthyr_hehe_animated:
