We have lots of content in the pipeline. I don’t get where that remark is coming from.
It wouldn’t replace gear drops, obviously. It would just be extra stuff that can drop.
I hope they do that and they retroactively put such drops in old content. This gives a big incentive to run that stuff again.
But now imagine… You can sell that epic chaise lounge that you’re not going to use on the auction house for a boatload of gold! Win/win.
They didn’t show road-map in the video, and not everyone reads wowhead regularly.
I don’t care about housing since, everything happens in the contemporary Capital city. i wouldn’t stay indoors, makes little sense to me.
It’s simply another way to be creative and express yourself in the game. And to collect stuff, for those who like that sort of thing.

I’ll take ESO type housing, what I actually want them to do is take the Housing System from “Wildstar” that allowed players to make their own environments/set and IMPROVE it. I want more components. I want to WANT to log into the game. WildStar housing was so exceptional that it spawned a community, it allowed players to add content and environments that they were MORE than happy for you to use!!
Even housing tours were worth it as there really did seem to be little limit to what players could and would create…
However I hope…

I dont know whats midnight other then the actual one but I guess it refers to something thats coming, maybe like a next expansion or some patch named as such. I wonder if op knows give any more details on this 
ESO style housing at a minimum. Anything short of that is just not going to suffice.
They’ve left this for so long, with numerous other games striking out ahead of them. They’ve had years to do this and they’re only doing it now. I don’t believe for a second that they can’t do this due to programming as it was also supposedly intended for vanilla.
I wasn’t going to buy Midnight. TWW has been ‘okay’ but only by virtue of the lore. I’m an RPer, 100%. I don’t do content.
My hope is that they release it like Dracthyr, it comes out with the prepatch. That way I’ll be able to see if they actually do a good job before buying Midnight.
Blizz has piqued my interest with this announcement, but frankly speaking, anything short of outstanding isn’t going to cut it at this point.

Midnight is the name of the next expansion.
When blizz told us last year that they make a trilogy they also shared the names of all three expansions with us.
The war within is ofcourse the first one.
The next one is Midnight.
And the last one of the trilogy is the last titan.
