PLAYER HOUSING in MIDNIGHT

I dont follow twitter sry. But thanks, now I know little more what the topic was about, other than that the play houses are coming.

And this is the reason why they mysteriously and suddenly can provide PH. To lock you into another expansion.

I have no idea why you replied with this

This is such a weird way to twist “providing interesting content” and make it sound bad

If the housing in Midnight is worse than those in ff14 and gw2 then it will become a meme

The stuff they said about the DRIVE system worries me to no end.
I really don’t want ground travel to also become a chore, like flying has become.
I don’t want to play a minigame when I’m traveling: I just want to comfortably, simply and quickly go from point A to point B. No weird gimmicks, no twitchy nonsense gameplay.

As long as you can actually get a house without gambling for months, and they don’t delete it if you skip a month of sub, it will already be better than XIV

I mean… Wont you still be able to do that though? Even with the drive system? Its not like your ground mount will come to a full stop if you run out of vigor like flying does.

You can still just press num lock and auto drive. I’ll be honest I haven’t watched the full video  I am making a pizza and gonna watch it all soon.

Probably not. Because you’re going to crash into things. They said in the video that you can theoretically go 10% faster than skyriding mounts can go at top speed. That’s very fast whilst being on the ground; and to me that is worrying. With lag and latency being a thing. It might be pretty unplayable for people who are not ‘twitch gameplay inclined’ so to speak. I hate racing games. I really, really hate them.

Oof… I think your over worrying. This is probably going to get tested of course. And I dont know how fast the average ground mount speed will be.

But I cant imagine they will make it so fast your just gonna faceplant walls all the time. That would be very annoying for everyone involved <.<

And if you don’t wanna go fast and just wanna lean back and chill. You just dont press the boost button.

It’s going to have mechanics (no pun), and if it’s anything like skyriding; you’re going to have to play and pay attention. And I just don’t want that.

Now; they have said that you can of course use your normal ground mounts, but depending on how big the zone is… I don’t want to have to travel for absolute ages to get anywhere, since they’ve confirmed in the video that there will be no flying in the zone (mistake imo).

But this is going very off topic. So let’s get back to housing!

Tracking back too housing. I agree with you. At least I think it was you? Who said we should have a similar housing system to SWTOR.

I personally think that is the most doable for WoW while still very ambitious. But a player House/apartment in each capital city would be so awesome.

I hope my house/apartment can be visited by others publicly. Like how habbo hotel was back in the days. People could see my room from a list and visit and chill in it. if I choose to make it public.

Sounds like a server/sharding problem, cause all cities I go to are loaded with people.

If you’re alive, yes.
If you’re undead, I’ll give you special slippers.
