I’m new to wow and started playing classic with my friends.
I’m a Tauren and they’re Troll and Orc.
When do I get to play with them and what do I need before doing so
You should meet up in the Barrens. At level 10-12 or so.
Ok I have a quest for the barrans after that will the game be mostly together or?
Well, an orc could head over to Mulgore and do the tauren quests if he wished, and vice versa. Once you meet up, it’s up to you if you want to do the quests together or not. The only thing that’ll set you apart are class quests.
You can run to each other’s starting zones and do all the quests together. Or you can each level your respective starter zones and team up later. The Orc and Troll will already have the same starter area.
Is there any downside to abandoning your area to go do quests in another. Or anything you’d say is a must before going?
You miss out on the reputation you would have received doing all the quests in your own starting zone.
I will be doing this with an alt, my friend will be a Tauren Warrior and I will be a Troll Priest to be his pocket healer, I’ve already run it all the way to Mulgore and stuck it in the Inn in Bloodhoof Village. We are still levelling our mains atm so no rush to do it.
Is there a point which forces everyone together anyway?
The troll and orc would quest through Durotar and the Tauren would quest through Mulgore, then you’d all end up in the Barrens around level 10.
