Big fan of hunting gear for transmog, I bet there are a lot of players like me and that would add longevity and something to do for people, because lets face it - naxx will be a steamroll anyway, there are people on beta already doing the undying achi in heroic gear.
And to top this of, transmog is not destroying anyones game OR immersion (lol?) unless you start adding retail transmog like pink wings then yea its destroying said immersion, but until then its amazing.

Because it’s a late Cataclysm feature.
Not impossible that it could come in wotlk classic, but with regards to system changes, UI changes etc then I don’t see it happening at all.

And why do you care how geared other players are? Are you talking about arena? Then lol cant you just take a quick look at their hp on arena frames? … No comments bro, can already tell you never been higher than 1500
Transmog is retail. It never was in WOTLK. And I don’t want to play retail.
So what its cataclysm feature? Its already done, in the game, whats stopping the devs from moving it to wotlk? Unless there is no dev working on classic wow lol

Good idea but Blizzard is too dumb to implemented these great ideas. Instead they take away RDF and think they are doing good.
While the I think transmog is a cool idea, I don’t think it belongs in an MMORPG and especially not in Classic WOTLK.
However, assume that blizzard did implement it (like a legal tmorph but only for gear), I would like to be able to disable it for everyone I encounter. Seeing people’s gear for what it is, is much more meaningful.

Transmog ruined the ability to see what gear people were using without inspecting them, leave it be an end of Cataclysm change, it does not belong in WOTLK.
GTFO Transmog is one of the single worst things to be implemented. People like you are the reason players are the cause of ruining wow.
Change my mind - Transmog is a short term bit of fun that has a longer lasting harm on the game by making everyone cool thus nobody cool. Half the reason to get new gear is gone. Try to please everyone - Ruin the game for the majority.

There could be hundreds of arguments, but since you ask for one : PVP, in arena you can know easily who’s less geared and base your decisions on it.

Normally I’d agree with you, but in WoTLK; all gear looks the same anyway. Just recolours of recolours of recolours. Even the off-pieces are the same model as tier sets.
I’ll farm all Tier set + all beautiful weapons but i don’t want transmog if it’s not for himself only.
I don’t want to see a T10 players with a T2 skin, i like to know his real stuff just with his real skin.

Based on the Shoulder-slot? Cloak can be hidden, Helm can be hidden, even Weapon could be hidden.
Are you telling me that you go in there and make a split second decision on the few pixels that are the Chest/Legs without acounting for the other 14 factors that you can’t see?
This is one of the reason Im not for it.
Chest is also hidden because of tabards.
