Agreed i see people eveywhere clearly using scripts to avoid logging out. Report them but i don”t know if Blizzard is doing anything about it atm.
8560 player queu. 296 minutes.
I pay for play not for 5 hours queue.
If blizzard cant provide service, understand ppl use anti afk.
Not players problem, they pay for play.
do you guyz know teamviewer? is not against the rules is not an atomation, Profit
yes ok as if all these people press a button every 5 secs with teamview in order not to get afk
sure, its all the ppl fault! instead of blaming blizzard, that made only 2 serves in the beginning and wants us to move after every new server comes up. Go make 10 characters if you wish and start over each time if you fancy, I certainly do not want that.
I mean, yeah. People botting AFK is a part of the problem.
Blizzard absolutely fukt it, but the queues are also higher because folk aint logging out.
I’m unsure of your argument here…
There are so many people botting. Many buildings are full of people standing still for hours and not being tagged as afk and others being tagged but still not logging out. Please mass report those people. The most popular realms continue to suffer from extended ques
make more realms and add server transfer thats the only solution.
I expect that by tonight most hardcore/semihardcore (even those who aren’t but just didn’t get to play until now) players will be using these scripts. This is good and bad. Good because this way blizz will be forced to do something (increase max pop until playable) about it and bad because until they do we will wait in queues forever.
Perma ban these people and everything will be ok. Cause if you ask me there are many people waiting in ques because some @holes illegaly reserve spots for many hours in a realm just for standing still in a building
yes, i want to switch servers every other day, because queues become bigger. I rather sit in queue for a few hours and play my char, than switch so many times because more players are coming to the game.
Perma ban for what exactly? lol.
1 week ban is plenty enough.
Let´s leave queues aside for a moment. The problem is that AFKers are skewing the population data. Thousands people are at work using scripts to stay online. Normally these people would not play at that time. But now they pretend to be playing. So once there are no queues, these people will stop using scripts and will be offline during the day. And the “full” server will become medium. Because now it´s full of people that do not intend to play at that time. So these servers appear to be full, but really only appear to be…
7 hours waiting and 1000 persons left. Ban multiaccounts! No anti afk. We pay for play, no for wait 8 hours to play! Last night i see 5 same name characters and ppl waiting to play. Not persons fault, they pay for no services. On queue all the grrrr Day!!!
Sharing accounts with your under-age children is not against ToS
yeah by this point id gladly eat the ban so i could stop playing blizzard games for good. 14 years of same sh*t
It’s a self fulfilling problem. People complain about queue times, so some of those people AFK bot and make the problem even worse. Then they complaint about longer queue times when they do get disconnected.
When these afk botters get taken out of the servers the queue times will fall more in line.
They will be banned, for cheating. They’re automating gameplay
Using third party programs (or similar things) in any way, shape or form, to automize gameplay is agains the ToS and thus a bannable offense.
On the same hand, account sharing is also both against the ToS and a bannable offense. You’re telling me the guy who’s almost 60 and has been streaming 24 hours a day is not sharing his account with someone else, but is has just not been sleeping since Tuesday?
Honestly, if Blizzard were to enforce the ToS, they’d have to ban quite a lot of streamers and similar, who’ve been sharing their accounts.
So we’re at a point where one breach of ToS is okay but another isn’t?
And to be honest, I couldn’t care less about AFK scripts, nor about account sharing. The queue bothers me and given the fact that Blizzard themselves brought this unto both us and themselves, yet refuse to properly handle, and most importantly apologize for, it is what’s really the issue here.
Some people have said remove the reasons for AFK scripts and people won’t do it anymore, and to be completly honest? I agree. The issue is that Blizzard isn’t willing to invest enough money into removing the reason, out of fear that in 1-2 months, the whole servergrid invested into WoW classic will be obsolete, which is why they’re refusing to fix the issues that are currently still quite severe.
And to be honest, if they were to ban AFK Scripters right now, they’d receive an insane backlash, because again, nobody wants to afk script. They feel the need to, because otherwise they wouldn’t get to play (with their friends) at all. And honestly? If you as a company give players the feeling that they need to break your ToS to have a chance at playing the game, then you’ve failed. Big time.
I waited in the queue for 4 hours to buy that loaf of bread!
