Please Ban people using anti afk scripts

Does a fan hitting the space button count as an Anti-AFK script?

It dont work anymore people reported.

lmao can i have your cat please ?

No it’s not, you won’t go to jail for breaking blizzards ToS. Sorry man but you are wrong, it might be a grayzone for some things. They could take legal action, but illegal in the sense that some drugs are illegal and you could/will go to jail for, no.

I’d just report everyone I saw running into walls for more than 2 minutes straight

Maybe Blizzard should fix the que problem, instead of baning people for wanting to play the game. If there were no ques, people wouldn’t be using anti-afk scripts.

What im gonna do is, start queueing during the day with teamviewer, so i dont risk getting disconnected

Think about what you’re saying. Of course it’s possible to go to prison for breaking ToS.

The Terms of Service are a legal contract which we must accept before we play. The TOS dictate what we, the consumer may/may not do. If you break ToS, blizzard have the right to punish you as they see fit, that may be anything from a ban up to prosecution.

they still have to follow the law, and to hold someone captive is illegal in most countries

Besides people use afk scripts to be able to play. They have nothing to lose

No afk script = not playing
ban = not playing

I don’t think anyone is saying you should or will go to prison for AFK scripting, I hope at least. My point was just to correct someone.

A word of warning though (for all), blizzard may in time look to punish the people AFK scripting. If that does become the case, do you not think that by talking about it in the forums, you’re increasingly the liklihood they look into your play history? Just a thought.

You can keep yourself logged in if you have a phone. You can remote control your PC. Google it.

the fact were on the forums means we are either queueing or not at home  otherwise we would be playing lol

thats the case for me at least ^^

What blizzard can do and should do is increase realm sizes until/or if player numbers drops.
What players did was found a solution for problem Blizzard is creating, in the end of the day all of us are paying customers who are unable to use product they are paying for and that’s the problem that needs time invested, not persecution of other players.

I just use team viewer from my phone to move my character around a bit so it doesn’t get logged out. Not sure how that would be illegal.

That’s in the logs which I presume devs/moderators can access.

I hope they do something about this, Gehennas still have queues, and I see alot of people “running towards walls” jumping/moving little in the inn, etc.

What I do is put raid markers on those I think are doing this in sw then come back after an hour and if still in same spot put a nice message in that that player is struggling to log off and can you help them and in no time they are gone. But your safe if you do it in northshire as I never go there.

I’m not a big fan of this since you kinda waste a spot in the server if you’re doing this for a long time, however i do think queing up on your phone at work is ok so you don’t have to wait for a 4-5h que when you get home

Never seen someone this evil. You would prefer people starve to death over breaking some words on a piece of paper.

Wouldn’t be able to play this way. I come home from work at 6 pm, queue up remotely at around 3pm, when I get logged in I just nudge my character sometimes. This way I can play instantly without wasting time.
