A lot of people, myself included, just set WOW to windowed form and do their work on one monitor and then keep WOW on the other. There is no automated keybinding scripts at play here.
You could make the argument that if people like myself are working we shouldn’t be logged in. In opposition, I would argue that to have the willpower to do boring work you need to occasionally reward yourself. So I reward myself by playing WOW every 15 mins and I just chat in guild with friends, most of whom are fellow real-life Engineers.
I admit, my sin is Im a lazy web developer.
But more to the point most players aren’t using AFK scripts. They are just hitting autorun and facing a wall.
In conclusion, I would suggest that banning players for keeping logged in would be counter productive because most players go afk with autorun on all the time unaware that IF they ran into a wall they could be accused of using an automated script.
Guilds will relocate soon so just chill. Make a twink on another server, play the opposite faction
Mean while Smart people saw this coming and knew new servers would be opened and picked a lower pop one not the original (Save Name) servers and can log on with no issues =D
Or, instead of banning players, which would cause a chain reaction of players to leave the game, resulting in the very thing you WoW-boys like to complain about everywhere on the internet, Blizzard can offer guilds free tokens to move their guild along with their consenting members to low populated servers…
