Im not saying blizz should do it, but if every player pitches in, we’ll find them all. We have a HUGE community of gamers to help do it.
90% of you idiots that are crying about anti afk scripts would probably resort to the same tactics after sitting on the forums all day crying about sitting in a 14 hour queue. The irony

and what makes you think you can spot someone using a script? I for one just auto run into a wall and go to the toilet sometimes.
i totally agree, people are defending blizzard, blaming players and being complete morons. But thats what forums are like. People are dumb.

Well we are sitting in a 14h que crying but we still dont use afk scripts. So gtfo and stop calling people idiots

There’s literally thousands of characters on every server using afk prevention methods. This was evident during last night server restarts.
My server when from 8k queue to zero. And there were no queues (on any server) for 4 hours.
How about instead of treating the symptom we treat the illness?

May be i should convince the wife to take over the char when i sleep, she can run around in Stormwind so i dont have to queue when i wake up, then its her time to get some sleep.

Besides the point. Do you blame people for it? I understand you are angry, but we all know you’d do the same.
Let’s say you had to take your dog out for a walk and run an errand, but you’re logged in on WoW questing and plan to grind for another 10+ hours… but you had to spend 1 hour to quickly do something. Would you exit the game and risk running into an 8+ queue, ruining your entire day? Or just run an anti afk script for 1 hour, come back and enjoy the rest of your day? We are just humans man, we are selfish but that’s just that. You would do the same
considering the login queues means almost 2-digit hour waiting times for people, im pretty sure reducing that by 10% would be tremendously helpful for a lot of players
Where to i get this script? I rather use a anti afk script than to wait 8 hours of my day to f*cking play!

It’s certainly understandable. But it’s also an exploit to avoid a mechanic that Blizzard intentionally placed in the game.
I’d agree if this was some tiny fraction of the population that does this, but it’s litterly THOUSANDS on every server.
ive seen plenty of people just jumping on the spot for several hours, dont know if it counts as botting if its not scripted.

Yes we are humans but being human doesnt necessarily mean that you dont give a fk about anyone else, you take advantage of others, you are a scammer and there is nothing wrong with this. Maybe its hard to believe but there are people choosing otherwise. Even if it is because of the fear of being punished for breaking the rules.
I mean I’ve managed to play for 1 day 2 hours without an anti afk script
