Dear Blizzard, this is Othanc, player with 14 years of paladin experience. I think we are too strong for pvp. We are scaring Hordies all around Azeroth:

Our Seal of the Righteousness hits way too much.

Our Judgments are very judgmental, they offend Hordies.

Our Mobility is Excellent. Should be nerfed such that our running speed is 90% of other class’ running speed so they can have a chance to run away from us.

SoC is better than Windfury. Who the heck would wanna be a shaman when you can be a paladin.

Hammer of Wrath should have a 3 second cast time. ( and it should have a 5 point talent to reduce its cooldown by 0.05/0.10/0.15/0.20/0.25 for a final cast time of 2.75 seconds and 5 talent points well spent.

Exorcism should be modified to only work against critters such as rabbits and rats and so should Holy Wrath. It would be very useful in the Ironforge Tram where there are a lot of rats. Especially in Stormwind next to the auction house to kill those 3 rats that always bother us.

Oh and Reckoning should give an extra attack for only 5% of the crits we receive. maybe even 4%. or you know what remove reckoning.

We have waay to many offensive abilities, so either change the ui to accomodate more spell bars or remove some of our offensive abilities.

Our gear stats and set bonuses are incredibly well designed and balanced. They benefit us so much that i don’t think we should benefit that much. Our set bonuses should totally be disactivated.

We are excellent at raid tanking because our mana is infinite and tps so high.

We are tired of constantly being on top of the dps meter or other classes not having a single chance to beat us in pvp (too much attention). Remember up and down can be relative.

I think it is now time for us paladins to heal. We must give healing a try, how bad can it be ? im sure it’ll be alright. We lack the gear to heal properly but its ok.

it isn’t enough for our ‘Turn Undead’ to not be turning demons as well, like some of our spells and i think instead of Fearing an undead, it should have no effect what so ever except a 10% chance to fear ourselves. This can be useful when the Hordies realize they cannot kill us. It should provide them some moral support when they see us Feared.

We shouldn’t be able to Bubble-HS. Because i think it can create negativity among horde players, not good for their psychology.

LoH should have at least a 24h cooldown. and who the hell needs mana after a LoH, remove that too.

Improved devotion aura is too imba. Remove talent pls.

We should only have access to 1handed weapons and a ‘held in offhand’. Because cmon do we even need a 2h or shields.

Our Librams are isane. definitely nerf.

Class is simply made for experimental gameplay and theorycrafting.
If u want be relevant dps, tank or even healer you must spent twice as much golds.
And if u want once in year play not suportive role in PvP be ready to spend 20 golds per encounter
But yeah they should nerf class more, there is still things to nerf until they just left autoatack ability and /dance spell

I can’t imagine maining a paladin, It’s so poorly designed and not thought out. Fully heal to full health in an instant, hammer of justice 5 sec stun from nothing, bubble long enough to heal back to full hp and hearthstone if you want, plate armor.
What really annoys me about paladins though asides from these no brainer abilities is they tend to always be out of position in PVP and even when they have 10+ people attacking them, they’re solo and clearly dead, they prolong the fight by using bubble and even healing back to full health… it’s the ultimate troll class.

Blizzard : ok ok quickly, take a warrior, remove all its skills, give it a very rapidly finishing mana pool, give it those two heals that priests have but make them weaker.
That one blizzard employee : but my lord, how will they survive?
Blizzard : oh man i dunno, you figure it out, give it some kinda shield or something that makes them immortal for 12 sec but then useless again.
employee: what else ?
Blizzard : i dunno man just throw in some stuff do i have to tell you everything??
Employee who secretly hated the Light : Et voila, we have a paladin.
WE, PALADIN PLAYERS 15 YEARS LATER: hmm but have you ever tried ironfoe with HoJ tho? i feel like it could be awesome. Do you think i should enchant my weapon with lifestealing or 22int… cuz yeah that argument is a thing…

Those “things” happened to be some of the best support spells in the entire game.
First of all thank you for having a brain and thank you for the constructive entrance. For some unknown reasons i love paladins and have always played pally since vanilla, yet i know they are the worst class in the game period ( im not talking aboout all the expansions and that crap, even in retail i only played lvl60 since 2008 lol and mostly with my paladin).

Do OP think paladins are bad or what? It’s by faaaaaaaaaaaaar the best class in this game both pvp and pve. By faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar.
Shamans are more fun with bursty pvp though. It’s really fun to crit 5k damage in 3 sec.
Shamans are much better for solo play though.
Paladins are easily the best support class in the game. They’re just terrible if you play Paladin solo. Which, incidently, is what a lot of paladins seem to want to do.
I was attacked by a pala in a Badlands the other day. It was super weird. He was attacking with 1h and shield and I just stood there, did a /shrug, healed a little and one shoot, lol.
oh i knnow that guy! every other paladin …

In AV I love doing home runs, just run with mount gear from Dun Baldr to Frostwolf Keep with more and more Horde chasing me for the sweet honor, just to Bubble/Recall after a 5min chase (or whenever I got slowed down too much) to deny the honor.

“Bubble” annoys me. There shouldn’t ever be a spell, that make 1 player to be protected against a raid, and still cast spells. And the worst if all, being able to cast it even when that school is being counterspelled. So you don’t even have to think when to use it.
Would you trade it, with more damage and mobility or a slow?
