How can you be THIS BAD at balancing a spec?
WTAF?
Some of us have spent WEEKS of hard work getting our characters, gear and specs to a place where we have actual relevance in raid.
That’s all just been wasted now.
Thanks a god damn bunch.
Why do i waste my time, energy and money on a game where the people responsible for it haven’t got the faintest clue?

Oh, great, you just completely killed BM all together, single target was the one thing we had going for us.
It’s a net 9% nerf to our single target, putting us in like the bottom of all DPS.
And our AOE is already dog water, you can’t just put in the nerf without of the rest of the class rework that is coming next patch.
The absolute incompetence of who ever is in charge of BM will never cease to baffle me.
Guess I won’t be playing the game until the rework comes in, if it’s even any good.

These changes are kind of crazy, you have a whole list of changes for 11.0.5 which is due by the 23rd of this month which is in two weeks and a couple of days, why change this now and nerf BM into the ground is something i don’t get. You started off with BM so well this expansion, giving us some love, and now you nerf us again, to HOPE to be buffed again very soon before 11.0.5 returns, we went from a good ST specialization and a super bad AoE specialization to just a terrible spec overall…
Leave the changes for now, and just let us be untill the patch 11.0.5 releases when we’re properly fixed, because why fix us in parts where it sends us down into a pit beforehand?

Because the Dev(s) responsible for BM balance haven’t got a clue how the spec works, that much is astoundingly obvious.

What a weird move. Nerf the Niche that Bm is okay at atm while not heavily buffing Aoe is just weird. A 9% Buff to 0 is still 0

At this point it’s either something personal and the one that’s responsible for class tuning really dislikes bm OR they roll the numbers. Both seems plausible

Sacrifice, time, and wasted effort, blizzard should learn to know what needs to change in each class. Apparently this is not the case, and the changes are thoughtless and unexplained. Many players who play BM look like they’re going to leave the game for now (me included).

I have all classes more or less dressed, so almost all classes, except sh-priest, with a clothing level 5-10 lower, give out DPS, in sorties, about 200k higher than BM.
Come on Blizzard.
Had you taken a look at BM spec, you would know that complete lack of AOE is a big issue on the spec. We have been waiting for you to FIX this. Instead you go ahead and NERF the only thing going for BM and that ST. So were now going from to complete lack luster AOE and competitive ST to the worst AOE and ST spec.
Why would you treat the spec this way? Hopefully you can see the irony of the change and fix this to prevent people from just quitting the game…

Pretty much impossible to join a M+ as BM, Its really sad tbh. “Go MM or Surv then” Nah no thanks…

I was starting to feel like I could hold my own in the damage meters - certainly keep in the top 10 DPS in the raid. Now all my gearing has been wasted? BM is effectively dead.
But hey! Ret paladins got another buff!!

Imagine putting all your resources in BM gear, playing Surv in m+ keys because the spec you enjoy most (BM) is simply doing tank damage.
You get to raid for a couple of weeks, utilising the strong Single target DMG profile which is ALL BM has. And Blizzard nerfs it to the ground.
Can i get my sparks and wasted gold back? I was seriously doubting to craft my 636 surv weapon, and you just made me realize I made a huge mistake by crafting this 636 BM weapon. It’s out of this world really.
Considering unsubscribing or going in hibernation untill the 20th anniversary patch comes along. Get your act together balancing team, this is an absolute joke. BM hunters are your biggest playerbase and we get this? like what? how?
Ohh and we’re still doing tank dmg in mythic+, well done Blizzard. I just don’t understand people get paid to release cr*p like this. Might wanna grab a calculator the next time you’re doing any kind of balancing.

Was hoping for some sense from developers and getting a buff b4 next patch. What i got as BM hunter main for many years, is a bloody nerf. I already informed my guildleader that i am quiting my BM hunter for raids. They (Blizz) already screwed me in M+, which i loved todo. My hunter just passed away, Blizz murdered it. RIP hunter.

I have played countless hours of Hunter and have never once felt the need to visit forums to cast out my opinion on nerfs, but I feel it so desperately now that I’ve seen this careless tuning announcement.
Single target damage is the one thing BM Hunter is useful for, which Blizzard seems to have interpreted as a fault so large they are willing to wipe it out completely just for (quite literally) an inconsequential AoE buff.
They must have been aware that by damaging the Single target so dramatically, they must provide some kind of compensation; hence the pathetic Kill Command and Pet damage increases. Knowing they would change something to account for this means they wouldn’t intend to fully destroy the spec so I can only hope that since this change looks somewhat positive before running any kind of actual numbers, perhaps it was just a mistake.
Their Hunter team must consist of Hunters, right? Or people familiar with Hunters. At the very least, they have spoken to a real-life, breathing, thinking, Hunter player… right?
I have never seen such a passionate, worldwide outrage to BM Hunter tuning in my life at just the thought of this going live. Not a single Hunter I’ve met would agree with or even feel justified tolerating this nerf. This is not the same as any real nerf that has gone live before.
If someone in charge sees this thread, all I can do as a BM Hunter is beg with all my heart that these changes are reconsidered or at least delayed along with the rest of the rework.
On behalf of all Hunters, in any percentile, with any modicum of loyalty to the class, I can confidently say this change cannot go live like this.
