Please consider titanforge for M+ in 8.3

Really… No other reason to do M+ without those weekly forges.

Your loots are mostly just disappointment even with titanforges, imagine without.

You are killing a successful PvE system with your own hands.

Oof, that’s gonna be great, going back to the days where you have no control or hope to improve over your stat distribution but only what’s available in your raid items…just because people nagged about how they can’t feel hard about their ilvl like when they were teenagers.

I will still do m+ because i actually enjoy doing it. Not too bothered about TF. Sure i like it but it wont mean to much if its gone either to me.

Why would you want TF though? There are so many ways to make M+ drop better loot that don’t include that kind of RNG.

Don’t get me wrong, I am M+ addict. I will prolly do it even without titanforges.

However, I think this change will reduce M+ participation. I don’t think it is healthy change.

That’s a good point, there is the potential to add more static reward ilevels for different dungeon difficulties.

I never got why it has to be one or the other and systems can’t coexist.

An RNG system like TF and a deterministic one like benthic forging/MoP forging (w.e it was called) can co-exist for creating upgrades for actual end-game. The deterministic one makes the runs where RNG doesn’t hit not feel a waste. The RNG one creates moments of enthusiasm while accumulating currency for the deterministic one and breaks the feeling of grind monotony.

Smh.

A bunch of people who mostly don’t like M+ cried loud enough and it’s going. Bad decision and good job babies.

Oh well.

I totally agree with what you said OP, yeah the change with the way how the gearing will work will inevitably influence the m+ participation in a bad way, the people will be less interested to run them if they will reach fast the point from which they will not have anything to get from them anymore in regards to their char progression.

How about you get tokens that you can save up and exchange for the perfect item that you want?

nah that’s crazy talk … do you honestly think Ion the Lord of the Rng would allow for such a system

because its less RNG than the corruption system.

Knowing Blizzard and how will they price the perfect items (cough…specific azerite pieces). No ty. Won’t be to thrilled to get my “perfect item”…1 per 6 months.

No,we dont need Titanforge anywhere.

What we need is system WoD’s PvP gear(best pvp gear system of any expac).

M+/Raids/PvP each got their own gear/sets with bonuses that scale up in content theyre from and for and bonuses for when in M+.
And any other gear doesnt scale up and has its bonuses not enabeld.

Repeat for Raids and PvP.

Also currency to upgrade items over time for M+ and Raids(so can push higher in M+ overtime and more can do raid).
Elimates the Rng crap that is/was titanforge and corrupt forging.

And each content has its own gear thats best for it from content it is. And M+ is fully alternative to raids. So dont have to do M+ for raids,or raid to do M+.
Same for pvp.

Titanforge shouldve never been a thing,at most we shouldve had warforged.
ANd like wod pvp gear,M+ should have had own gear seperate from rest.

Would solve titanforge issue, and makes tiersets or any other non M+ gear/items not needed for M+ and aslo elimates pvpers/raiders having to do M+ for gear(since its no lockout and pvp doesnt have vendors in bfa ),or stuff like essences or Legiondaries, or anything.

And wouldve made it actully and fully a seperate option from raiding or pvp

M+ is not a successful PvE system, it’s a popular system. And it’s popular because of endless welfare titanforged gear that allowed casual clowns to get better gear than Mythic raiders.

Your opinion. I disagree 100% with it.

Making a separate game out of M+ would effectively kill the activity I personally engage most in.

But whatever. If you have that opinion good for you.

Troll attempt 1/10. You can do so much better.

But guys, M+ is not about gear. It’s about challenge, riiiight?
At least that what I was told before.

I’m glad the RNG’sus is being reduced.

Just wondering about that part.

If your only worry is to loot the good piece rather than the good piece with the right forge, isn’t it less disappointing ?

you’ll be done with your character faster and may need to raid for better stuff but overall is it really worse without ?

What I think they should do is that they should give weekly static high rewards at M+ chest instead of weekly lootgamble. Titanforge or any kind of bonusforge has to go away. And no completion reward (mythic+ or any dungeons) should be higher or equal to mythic raids in the game.
This would incentivize more people to play each content. And there would be much more interaction in between each playerbase.

As reward systems go, put the legendaries like legiondaries behind a 5 mythic raid boss or first 5 mythic raid boss kills(If there are 9-14 bosses in a raid), or complete +15 seasonal m+ completion. (1.8-2.2k rating for PvP players maybe, I don’t know, I didn’t play PvP, I leave the appropriate threshold to devs at that point) And when a new season/tier comes, deplete its bonus powers and make players go for new season legendaries.
