Please don't make WOTLK into suffering

Having RDF doesn’t mean having all the whole baggage from Retail. Rather than trying to turn WotLK more into Vanilla, the devs should’ve just let WotLK be WotLK. This whole dicotomy “Classic vs Retail” is a stupid one, as if there’re only players who like Vanilla or Shadowlands.

It will be hard for horde on Firemaw. hopefully they add new free transfer out. or I will be more dead than alive leveling to 80

Do you intend to keep playing classic all the way till Classic Shadowlands or what? And if so, why are you telling others to go play retail?

You dont think this same argument will exist when we reach LFR in catalysm classic?

Every expansion beyond wotlk and including introduced a system that split the playerbase on.

How is this relevant to a discussion about WotLK?

What you’re saying right now is literally the same as:

“We get new talents in Wrath therefore the inevitable conclusion is that we get covenants in Shadowlands”. Not only is that a massive logical fallacy, it’s also something most of us simply don’t care about.

LFR is so vastly different from RDF cause it introduces a whole new difficulty level as well. One is a quality of life change the other is actual new content. It’s meaningless to compare the two.

No what im stating is:

These sorts of things such as RDF LFR cross server play and more were huge points of controversery and split the playerbase.

And as a player who plays both id like to see how the gsme would of developed if blizzard took the second side instead of the same side was introduced.

And i think proclaiming “we are a majority” as existed since the beginning of time, and oftenly used inaccurately.

And there must be a reason to blizzards decision to follow that path

So what you’re actually looking for is an alternate history path towards current retail.

Good luck with that.

I just want Wrath to be Wrath.

Wrath is wrath.

RDF didnt come in until ICC what ur asking for right now would be making wrath not wrath.

RDF didnt come out til after 1 year of Wrath lifespan its a simple case people want it from wraths launch which is ironically just as much of a game changer for wrath then not having it.

As you want it a year early. And those who dont are trying to igbore a years of its existance

But it’s not coming to Wrath this time around, so I’m arguing to add it to Wrath to make Wrath Wrath.

Thats not known.

Blizzard may change direction on this depending on its impact in game.

All we know currently is theres no plans to add RDF to wrath right now.

We are talking a 2 year expansion life cycle. Things can always change

Based on what Blizzard has announced that is how it’s going to go, yes. They’ve literally stated that it’s not coming.

Do you think they’re going to change their minds without player feedback or what? Out of the goodness of their hearts?

I remember back in shadowlands beta testing ion said a ripcord didnt exist and it wasnt doable this late in devopment

Yet they pulled the ripcord in 9.2.

Again, blizzard will change direction if no RDF proves to be low popularity. So if you truely beleive the vast majority want the system, then you have nothing to worry about.

Im not saying “dont give feedback” i just dont class as “we be scammed by a minority everyone agrees with me we all obviously want RDF” to be a false argument.

I have no idea what you just said cause I don’t know wtf a ripcord is in terms of this game.

The dev team for classic isn’t big enough to make on the fly changes like that though.

And again, how are they supposed to know about the lack of RDF being a factor without us letting them know lack of RDF is a key factor?

Basically. Same argument as this has caused.

One side hated covenants other side wanted them. Got proven during SL life cycle it was not popular even those who wanted it got proven completely wrong on the system and it was one of the larger reasons for the playerbase bleeding heavily from the game.

Blizzard in reaction deleted covenenant restrictions almost entirely to try save the expansion.

It was another war of mindsets that got resolved once went live effectively

So to sum up your post:

“Just wait and see.”

Is that apt?

I didnt say “dont say u want it” or swear to silence.

Im saying screeching “WE ARE A MAJORITY” isnt a sincere argument and generally isnt feedback. There are plenty of arguments For RDF i agree with, i.e small servers and introduction of paid server transfer means those stuck on those servers are going to struggle.

But that argument also has multiple solutions

No. My point is i think theres multiple fixs for the problems existing.

Consilidate servers as a example. As without RDF high pop servers become nessercary.

You’re literally the only person who has used the word majority in this thread.

What’re you on about?

I take that as a no.

And that’s not what i’ve been writing. You read too sloppy.

Okay, so explain how you didn’t tell someone to not do dungeons and go do pvp instead right there cause that’s how it came across to people who read it.

I fully understand and accept that English may not be your first language (it certainly isn’t for me) so mistakes happen, but can you honestly say you read what you said right there and don’t interpret it as telling someone to just do battlegrounds?
