I played 36 rounds and ended up with only 4 points!
I was playing as a healer and queued for 6 solo shuffle games in a row. In every game, one DPS had 0 wins.
I got matched with 3 experienced players (~1800 rating) and fresh players who somehow managed to die
A Mage with two Ice Block charges died three times without using them!
A Paladin died multiple times, even with Divine Shield available!
In one game, there was a Gladiator DPS who carried the match, going 6-0.
Great job to them, it was a frustrating experience.
Iâm done with playing WoW until they fix healer and MMR matchups.
Most of the time I go against healers with lower MMR because Blizzard wants queues faster, and often you go 3-3 because thatâs healer life = means my rating wonât change, and MMR will go down.
Yesterday I got matched up against a healer with 80-90 less MMR (at 2400+) - wouldâve gone 3-3 as you usually do as healer if a dps hadnât thrown a round on my team.
So I went 2-4 and lost 50 (!!) rating. Never have I ever even gained 20 rating for going 4-2 in shuffle at 2300+, but it seems to be the norm against me. Such a FUN mode as healer!
Yeah Iâm done with this game. Most unrewarding system ever implemented.
If a game ends 6-0 for either side, whether itâs the healer or DPS carrying, itâs just bad matchmaking. Like, how is that even fun?
You get 1 point if you do more healing and more DPS than the other healer.
In one round, I absolutely crushed it: 120 million healing compared to their 40 millionâthatâs 3x their output. But even with that, my DPS team couldnât hold up, and we ended up with a 3-3 draw.
So you want to be rewardedâŚfor not winning. Got it. This is why they need to ditch solo shuffle and just make it a 1 game solo queue format. Too many entitled healers thinking they should climb the ranks when they donât win the lobby, then blame anything and everything but themselves. I dare you to upload a video of your gameplay, letâs see how flawless you were.
Just because you outheal someone doesnât mean you deserve the win more.
A healer with lower MMR performed just as well as you, so either A) your MMR should stay 0 and/or B) the other healer should then match your MMR.
Thatâs dumb.
You have quoted me saying that people are entitled for thinking they should climb for NOT winning the lobby, and then you reply by saying you won a lobby and lost MMR. That is a separate issue to the point of the thread, and as you can see above, I agree you shouldnât lose MMR for winning.
Iâm currently getting a DPS to 1800 rating for the mog and itâs just faceroll compared to a healer. I did it on my resto druid recently and I got 3-3 games due to 0-6 DPS. On my DPS I get a win from the lobby if thereâs a 0-6 dps.
Itâs ridiculous. Why should they get 4-2 and a win from the lobby when they couldnât win with the 0-6 dps?
You have a negative win rate at 1800 and a barely even win rate at 2k. Quite frankly, youâre where youâre belong. Loops back to entitlement: youâre not as good as you think you are.
But since reading is hard for you, I will repeat yet again that I agree that healers should not lose MMR for winning a lobby. Do you want me to repeat it for a third time or have you grasped it?
The point is that itâs not a spec that I usually play, so itâs kind of lolworthy to go âlol negative win rateâ. I played it to not impact my holy rating while still farming honor.
