Please, no more female lead characters Blizzard

Its obviously a suggestion, its not like 1 fan as a say in the games lore development, the point is: The game’s lore is worse today than it was before(most fans agree with this) they’ve gone way over the top because most questlines dont add continuity to the game’s base lore.
I dont even care about male/female bs, the thing is the female leads feel kinda forced. On another note, this game was never meant to be colorfull and full of rainbows and happy endings , World of WarCraft’s story was meant to be dark since the beggining, orc massacre, plagues, etc… Simplicity makes it better

Do explain it to me then?

Explain why Blizzard should listen to your suggestion. Why should they remove female lead characters? What makes male lead characters preferable than female in the eyes of a writer?

How are female leads “forced”? We’ve had important female characters since WC3, with Jaina, Sylvanas, Tyrande… WC2 also had Alleria Windrunner, which became an iconic character.

Also nice backtrack. Apparently you dont care about the whole gender debate, and still proceeded to name your thread “Blizzard, stop writing important women”.

If the OP is trolling he certainly succeeded at getting a reaction…BFA is the only expansion with an increase in female leads yet still there are more male characters featured overall. Like many others said, who care about gender ! All they have to do is make the characters interesting and not have mood swings or suddenly behave like previous development or lore didn’t matter.

Why because you think females cant lead ?

But of course  Wow’s a medieval game afterall, females didnt lead during medieval times doesnt feel right to the setting honestly.
Something that DOES feel right tho, is more “exotic” female leaders leading certain tribes, example:
Zandalari is fine with Talanji,Tyrande is fine, kinda .Valkyrie are a tottaly cool concept too.

Now Geya’rah tho… She doesnt feel right with the mag’har, which are mostly male oriented, it just doesnt feels right. Her dialogue is cringy as f*
Now what i said about Geya’rah i say about sylvanas as warchief!

Well, the Outland Mag’har were led by Greatmother Geyah, and in Draenor Draka, as well as the laughing skull woman we interacted with both had a very active role in their tribes.
That males had a more prominent role overall, was because most of them were conceptualized early in the history of Warcraft and only reused in WoD.

Lol,only Tyrande and Sylvanas actually made and impact during core WarCraft lore days, the point is i dont care about female/male leadership i just think that this “forced” female leads are a side effect of bad writing.

In my opinion Sylvana should never have been a warchief is too cool to be warchief :joy: Leaders r only some nerds who have no contact with reality. Because they r all die by some stupid death :joy: Women are more aggressive and they are there to make a mess except Jaina she is passive like Patrick the star :joy:

Right? :joy: Funny, how they put all this vengeance mood around Jaina when in the end she’s still that soft, passive character, but i still like her…

She is in delusion I think she take a lot riverbud with horde pals :joy:
Get it? wink wink :jamaica:
I as a female player who adores a lot Sylv would ask beg if I need to… Sylv stay alive in the shadow made some hardcore 3 factions like assassins double agents to make mess a cross Azeroth lol I would abandon Horde in a sec and become new PMS soldier and burn a lot of woods xDD But the reality is that Blizz would never do someting fun

Who the hell is Geyah?? :joy: Hellscream is where its at!! Of course, i wouldnt agree with bringing Gromm along with us i know Blizzard’s idea and they are right, but again, why kill Garrosh, he was the perfect mag’har faction leader :joy: if he didnt turn into a expansion end raid boss. He had depth! He did nothing wrong before MOP shoullda stayed like that.

I have no idea :joy:
I think she sells tacos I dont know xD
To be true I start to think that Blizzard dont like Horde a lot so everything is possible … Even this like Jaina starts to be nice with Horde … leads to execute her because you know Horde curse lol

Jaina has more screentime than the both of them in WC3…

Also, you can keep repeating again and again that gender debate is not your point here, it doesnt change the fact that your title completely contradicts that.

Ok, we had Jaina !! But Jaina’s character as always been very passive she didnt recreate the kingdom of lordaeron and become an entire race’s leader, she didnt fight the burning Legion and release Ilidan to save Azeroth. Talking old WarCraft days.

She was literally the first one to stand against the Legion during the final battle for the fate of the world. Even Archimonde praised her courage.

Tyrande isn’t the leader of all night elves either. She only controls the Kalimdor ones.
