+100 for me. Us TBC enthousiasts need a home away from the zergers/boosters/gold buyers that destroyed wrath classic.

TBC Classic was rushed for this?

The Burning Crusade KILLED World of Warcraft.

This falsely so called expansion murdered open world gameplay with flying and butchered faction identity by forcing both sides into the same city, along with adding out of place races and paladins to horde/shamans to alliance. It also replaced the vast and beautiful Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor with 7 ugly zones.

The greatest disaster to ever happen to the game and the natural first step down towards what modern WoW is.

It does not deserve its own servers, people right now are realizing that TBC and WotLK are garbage games: lazy, low iq disasters following a cheap formula.

Yep TBC was good, really enjoyed classic TBC

Surely has nothing to do with you grey parsing in tbc.
Twisting too hard for you?

Surely it doesn’t, that’s why 3rd party websites have been hosting tbc and wrath realms for more than a decade. The demand is there, regardless if you like it or not.
Besides that, arena realms have also been popular for years.

I swear uptight, maybe consider that people don’t like the same things you do, you selfish prick.

Upright I agree that TBC killed a lot of things yet since the good ol’ vanilla already has a server its legacy is secured.
Opening a TBC server won’t affect it whatsoever…unless of course your claim is incorrect, which no doubt would make you hesitant to see one opened. :stuck_out_tongue:

Activision killed the spirit of vanilla WoW. Before they bought Blizz from Vivendi the game’s popularity never stopped going up until about half way through WotLK which is when the new leadership actually started having an impact on the game.

TBC and WotLK were great expansions at the time. The versions we got were inferior to the originals for a few reasons that I won’t get into here.

WRONG!

And splitting the community is dumb. You just need to realize that the falsely so called WoW expansions are garbo games.

TBC was the first step towards Dragonflight, so just go ahead and play that.

Retail is still following the same lazy “expansion” formula that TBC introduced.

Just realize youre wrong about TBC. It butchered the game beyond repair.

Oh, poor split community. If you didnt noticed people will play what they want and not what’s thrown at them. And even within one Era cluster we have separate groups/communities that dont interact much and play differently.

I’m not really interested in TBC but also I’m not interested in an Era PvP cluster where a childish pala is upset he cant gank low level quest givers and players without getting reported

People still argue with this troll? It’s what he wants, just ignore him and move on.

And yes, TBC has to return one day!

I would really like to see a TBC Era realm. TBC holds a special place in my heart, for sure. Would LOVE to go to Outland again!

The Outlands, must be the most ugly place, I ever visited in WoW. And the linear dungeons, are lame design. BRD> all TBC dungeons combined.
But if people want TBC (my buddies liked it in 2007), Blizzard should listen to them.

I agree that at that time, we were all happy for new content. I even remember, loving WotLK. But when I tried it as Classic (if I may) Version, I realised, that nothing has that Vanilla feeling. Especially if you start a new character. It is a dump mob farming. Without resting or being afraid to being killed. Easy mode, is not interesting or meaningful.
Newer expansions, showed the trend of the next generation. Quickly, easy, without investing into something. Fortnite and MOBA style. And all of us, cheered for what was fed to us.

So true. Problem is when Wrath came first out, it was not like this. Because we now get all pathces at once, what was spread over two years first time. The contrast to BCClassic was BIG, the contrast to Era - you can still play - even bigger. Back then we could not compare like this

True, but it goes both ways. I had rerolled a couple chars on Classic Era, not long ago, and I must admit it was much more enjoyable to level there than it was on WotLKC, for reasons you touched upon. However, as I started remembering what awaited me at max level - what Classic raids were like in terms of gameplay experience, world buffs, consumables etc, especially Naxx - my enthusiasm quickly petered out.

While the leveling experience is important, a quality endgame is important as well, and a balance between the two is necessary for me to find the will to engage with the content for a long time. But I understand that there’re a lot of Classic players who would just be happy leveling to 60, deleting their char and rerolling again. I can’t understand the appeal, tbh, but more power to them I guess.

Yes, end game content, is not as exciting as leveling experience. So, I just enjoy the journey.
They should have make raids smaller. And add heroic dungeons. And maybe some events.
Also, wPVP has some potential. Maybe faction leader, should drop legendary items. But not when killed 3:00 in the morning.
There is huge potential with Classic content. You can tweak it or re-write it (alternative story).
I don’t know though, if it is only us, the older generation that loves that style of MMO. We are not good customers, for the micro transaction model. I would never spend a euro, on anything in a game. Would rather pay higher subscription fee.
