Please release HEART OF FIRE TRANSMUTE!

u could save urself time and run through the instances on retail if u just wanna see the content

Retail’s gameplay is horrible - to the point I couldn’t even muster the willpower to get past lvl 82 or something. So yeah I’d rather keep on playing Classic the way I currently am.

I know it eludes you, but not everyone is a pserver player who has been playing Vanilla for the last 10+ years. Over half my guild hadn’t even played BWL before in Vanilla, and we had a blast running through it.

On another note, I’ll have a laugh when Naxx comes around and we’ll see ppl complaining they can’t afford to buy flasks anymore while I’ll just dip into my stash of Black Lotus (36 atm, still counting) with little trouble.

retail has objectively better gameplay in terms of direct interaction.

im well aware of rpers/25+ something people that play this game with the same mentality as u

im sure u will have fun progressing naxx a year after it’s classic release

You mean the same way I killed Nef on 1st week?

My friend’s in guild where only 5 people used GrFPP. They also had 7 healers and 30 people overall. 2 retri paladins. 4 melees died on pull due to hunter pet chaining the cleave.

Still killed him that try.

oh wow u raid 3 times a week. if u had world buffs and a few consumables u could easily clear the content in 1 night, u’d afford gfpps, flask and have gold spare

u can also do that with aq40, but why would u? u are not only wasting ur own time but the rest of the raid aswell. with this mentality and complete disregard for efficiency we’d be living like subsaharans

Yeah, cutting down on a few hours of raiding by spending 3-4X as much time farming outside. What a brilliant idea. Why didn’t I think of it before?

because u are a roleplayer and u play the game for completely different reasons. ur mentality is that of a southern/western european

I’m playing the game to have fun and make a use of my game time as efficient as possible. And that involves not spending 4 hours to farm just so you can clear your raids 30 min faster.

I’d rather save money now than ending up empty in phase 5 or 6 because I don’t have the time to farm 3 flasks a week and everything else.

But then again maybe you don’t have a real life to worry about

u can easily clear mc+bwl+ony in 2 hours with a decent guild and no one being flasked. u basically earn money from boss gold from raiding as non warrior/healer chugging mana pots even after including all consumables. I have not farmed gold for raids since a week or so in to MC and i buy all my consumables from AH (scorpok salt, mongoose, squids, sappers etc).

u are a mage, u can make 100g/h just boosting mara. assume u flask once or twice a month during DMF u can raid 2 hours a week farming maybe 6 hours a month

Maybe, assuming you’re talking about people with extensive Vanilla experience that don’t have to stop explaining people tactics and positioning for bosses. A large part of the time we spent doing our first BWL was spent actually mastering the encounters and strategy. I know it’s surprising to you, but not everybody no-lifed pservers before rolling on Classic.

I’ve never said I’m not using consumables at all. I’m still using stuff like Mana Potions (at least in BWL), Nightfin Soup, Greater Arcane Elixir etc. As I said, it’s about cost efficiency.

GL finding ppl willing to fork that money for a Mara boost with any reliability on Mirage Raceway horde.

I do agree though that a large part of the time cutting while raiding stems from fine-tuning tactics and pulls rather than consumables. We already reduced MC to little more than an hour and most of us don’t even use any consumables except for Ragnaros. That’s why I don’t see any point in spending hours and gold farming to shave a couple extra minutes off of the raiding time when I could use that money to buy Black Lotuses and other mats before their prices soar even more in later phases.

You’ll not clear Naxxramas without Greater Frost Protection Potion.

And same for Greater Shadow Protection Potion for Loatheb, if you don’t have it, you’ll never pass it.

I guess you under estimate largely the amount of consumables needed for this raid, it’s far away from MC and BWL. Basicly, you need a full bag of consumable xD.

Ok let’s say this us true and some people can’t afford (aka spend the time needed) to raid every week. So what? We will raid BWL for years and there really really reeeeaaaally are no hurry before AQ.

  • Plays a mage.

Lol.

Ironically, I’ve got my full set of tier 1 and two items of tier two quicker than I would of done in retail.

And let’s be honest, the difficulty of the raid mechanics is comparable to LFR raiding. The only difficulty in classic is getting 40 people doing what they should be doing, and that’s normally pressing their one or two spells over and over.

I know. Did you read what I write before?

The entire point of me not wasting money on superfluous consumables in BWL is so that I can use that money to stock up on consumables in Naxx. Right now I’m prioritizing Black Lotuses, but protection potions are on my list too.

Not sure what you mean here
