Its not skyrim where everyone can be a stealthy two handed axe wielding healing mage.
And if we look from D&D it could actually hinder your magical abilities(spell failure rate…but thats a different topic).
And it makes no sense. Its the same as a stealthy rogue choosing heavy plate for…lols? instead of light armor to remain sneaky.
You would be right, if armor sets would actually fit such description. Sometimes you can tell what the set is supposed to be just cause you know the class.
And they should remove transmog restrictions from Event Time Limited transmog items, like Garland of Grain from Brewfest. I mean I could understand it could be weird to see people running around with Winter Veil cosmetic items all the time, if they removed restrictions from those, but what’s the point of restriction on Garland of Grain cosmetic item? There used to be other restrictions as well, like Legendaries could not be used for Transmog.
And what was the point of that? Everyone had stored them in bank, with hope one day they could be could be made usable for Transmog, which they removed that restriction at some point.
So restrictions that make sense are fine, like transmogs requiring same Armor type of equipped Armor, but some Event Time Limited transmogs like Garland of Grain doesn’t. However, I would not really mind if they removed Armor type restriction as well while they are it.
That’s what I meant. Restrictions that make sense like transmogs requiring same Armor type of equipped armor are fine.
That means they may as well remove Event Time Limited restriction for that item that you linked, Transmog restrictions from grey/white and starter gear, and anything else that doesn’t make sense to have restrictions on it. I mean those restrictions are just unnecessary and pointless. And I love the look of the new starter gears, especially the starter gear for Rogue.
Also they should allow tranmogging from Dagger to 1h and vice versa. Animations would not be problem, as it can change depending on item appearance (i.e: Transmogging between Bow and Gun or between 1h and Fist Weapon will change the animation), it could also work for abilities. And it already does, like when I’m using daggers and use “Inflatable Thunderfury” consumable item from Anniversary Event, Mutilate animation looks exactly same except stabbing a target with a big sword, like who cares if that would look weird? Unlike Blizzard that claims animatons would be problem and they give that excuse as a reason.
There are plenty of weird stuff with this game already. Like armor clipping etc. And after all, game graphics look cartoony due to an old graphic engine although it has been updated regularly over the years and continues to be updated.
I just want to play Assassination and use Thunderfury at the same time, tbh.
Combat mage says hellllooo! It’s not a WoW thing but it exists in fantasy.
Also, if a Paladin can use the Light and smash things in the face… why can’t mages use Fireball and smash things in the face?
