Please remove the Mindgames + UA combo from the game

You really mention Soul Rot on the same table with Convoke or Mind Games ? :clown_face:
Warlocks have the most boring and weak covenant bullshet powers in the game.

I would trade Soul Rot for mindgames/convoke/chain harvest anytime.

I have a glad Ele sham friend who actually thinks Darkglare and Soul Rot is the most OP burst cooldown in the game omegaLOL

I understand the frustraction that this combo could make you feel but it is far from been overpowered in the meta.
First, in the top 100 eu and us ladderboard of 3v3, there is only 1 lock for 44 pal, 32 priesr, 29 war, 27 sham, 23 mage.
Second I don’t think a lock can UA healer without mistake of positioning. And even if he did your dps can off heal.
Finally, the UA damage are not high. You don’t imagine how sham and Drood spam dispel on cd and never get punish. When you face War/Rsham and you can finally UA after cs, cs, spell reflect , totem, stun. And then they simply dispel for 8k.

Think its because its kinda the same as sudden death from warriors. Been in the game for years and noone cried about it ever^^

mind games should just be changed to heal absorb…
It interacts with some mechanics in a terrible way.

-Active hots
-Guardian Spirit
-Auto frenzy regen
-Cauterize (although they deserve it)

and any other auto heal that I might forgot to mention.

Mind games is a terrible addition to the game. Pretty sure all the games I won on my holy priest were basically due to mind games (pressure or one shots)

would actually be a decent change, it dies dmg and instead of doing dmg or heals depending on what the target does it instead gives enemies they hit an absorb shield from the amount of dmg or a hea absorb you put on the target you heal instead of dmging them.

The reason Mindgames is so good on shaman is because there is not a single class in the game that uses his selfhealing to survive more than shamans. Blizzard wants shaman to not be about defensive CDs, nor kiting, nor absorbing/immuning, but about healing, big heals.

You land Mindgames on a shaman you negate near 100% of his survivability if he doesn’t get dispelled

Eh, I’d argue that Ret relies the most on self healing by a considerable margin. At least Shamans have wall on a 1.5 min CD, Ret has bubble; and with the amount of Warriors/Priests in arena nowadays, they don’t often have that for long either. I suppose you did say class, though.

Me being pedantic aside, if you ask me, the actual reason that Mindgames is so good into Shamans is because they actively choose to make themselves more vulnerable by refusing to opt out of NG.

they are both similar. The difference is that WoG is so big that usually you don’t seem to kill yourself but just heal through mind games.
The problem with shamans is that you get automatically deleted that to earth shield. So instead of 12k mind games dmg from the initial hit you more or less get a 20k direct hit because it immediately triggers and there is nothing you can do about it.
