Even better that way, since the major issue of Vanilla Era realms is that there are just too many realms.
And people who are on those empty realms might not realise that there are pretty active ones and quit - instead of transfering to those.
We do not really have that many realms in Era.
We have - EU English: 1 PvE cluster, 1PvE-RP realm, 1 PvP-RP realm and 2 PvP clusters. Merge those last 2 and it’s fine.
Adding some kind of markings so that newcomers can see that it’s merged realms would be nice.
I will move to Wrath with my main but i would have wanted to leave some characters to TBC and make a new main there. Then play both Wrath and TBC as i belive they are both golden expansions.
There are players who love TBC over everything else and either continue to play TBC or will quit if forced to go to wrath. Making couple servers for TBC era wont split the player base it will allow those players who want to play TBC and nothing else to do just that, if no TBC servers are created it will just make TBC lovers quit middle fingers up. In spirit of Classic Blizzard promised us they will keep Era servers for those who want to stay in one era, of course they promised Classic will never have level boost so this is just one of those Blizzard just cant keep their promises type of thing sadly i am afraid.
If TBC era servers are going to be forced progression there is high risk that same treatment happens to Wrath. If we allow this to go through without backslash Blizzard or Microsoft will force move everybody from Wrath to Cata and anger Wrath lovers. Cata was still pretty decent expansion and many players would eventually move to there for “fresh” Cata classic content, but what happens when everyone is forced to Mist of Pandaria with no option to stay behind?
TLDR it just feels like bad decision with no care for players who rather stay in TBC and might bite Wrath lovers in couple years.
TBC Era sounds like some form of torture. You truly need a low iq specimen to play WoW “expansions” out of free will. Hehehe
TBC added Outland, killing Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms.
TBC added flying, killing open world gameplay.
TBC added Shamans to the Alliance and Paladins to the Horde, included out of place races and forced both factions into one city, killing faction identity.
TBC is a horrible game with no soul, only instanced content and murdered World of Warcraft twice now.
TBC isnt an expansion. It didnt expand upon the game, it took away more than it added and did permanent, irreparable damage.
If you dont see this, you deserve the bad games blizzard feeds you. Get real fools!
Agreed. Blizzard should upgrade their technology or whatever, so that they could run 1 megaserver of each. 1 vanilla, 1 BC and one WTOLK. People dont care about layers anymore.
BC is for many the favourite expansion. Too bad those pirate servers gets that crowd. Blizzard should not allow that and the best way is to offer BC servers.
TBC added cool PvP (gear with resi, arenas, various specs etc instead of that ridicule parody on pvp in classic)
TBC added flexability, now its not a game about 3-4 playable specs and raids with 20 warry’s
TBC added harsh challenges (as arena ranking) and reduced stupid grind (as gathering wbuffs, farming tons of consumeable’s etc)
TBC is best game ever created, with it exclusive atmosphere, unique but relatively balanced classes, gorgeous raids, well made pvp that i want to play for rest of my days.
You won’t get that Grand Marshal by writing here on the forums. Go back to killing alt horde characters near GY for 12hours a day like a real men do in PvP
You aware of that many who play vanilla servers would not really jump into wotlk right? So you would not get anything by doing so. Also I paid my clon who I pay subs only for despite I played TBC for some time. Not sure if you understand that I paid for something I want.
Appart be sure dude that wotlk will be just another hype fail. But anyways I wish you to parse well.
Wotlk era is must becuause like 10% of the puplation is leaving for cata, that being said anyone who likes tbc will like wotlk, because only good things happens, wotlk didnt have any downsides in my opinion.
Where do they stop, are we honestly gonna see WOD classic and more.
I feel like cata classic is the last people will accept, after that the playerbase will be spread too thing.
im personaly not playing after wotlr.
Vehicle bgs, death knights, phasing, group finder, quest tracker, store mounts, flying, faction changes, race changes, character recustomization, heirlooms.
Sorry, objectively a terrible expansion. You are wrong!
Looking back, when Wrath came out, I dumped alot of time into. Thinking of it more now, I didnt enjoy it. Yes Achievements were great at the time but my god, personally, I bloody hate them.
One aspect that I enjoyed was reconnection with old friends after a break who were still playing the game but overall, I didnt like Wrath.
Not saying that everyone hated it. I know alot loved it, but to each their own!
