Oh, ho! The good old “I don’t like it - nobody should have it”-argument. Why not let people play as they like? WoW Classic is not one game, but many.

TBC Classic is very necessary, very!
If it doesn’t, it’s all in vain.
I managed to play only one class, and only in the pvp aspect.
But I would like to go to raids and try other classes, knowing that progress is not limited in time.
Real fans of the game were simply forced to play the following additions, because. they had no choice.
Although many, many would love to play separately on Classic Era, TBC Era and of course Lich King Era.
These are the key addons thanks to which WoW is the game that many have played all their lives.
And now it’s unfair to take away the opportunity to play as much as you like in your favorite add-ons, when such a precedent has already been set.
You just don’t need so many Classic Era servers, really 1-2 servers per region are enough for all players.
But there should also be TBC servers, otherwise this whole process was useless.

This needs more support, badly.
I only found out about this couple days ago, as i seemingly missed it, and the knowledge of no TBC era servers just made my heart sink to the bottom. I have characters still in a chill leveling process and had originally thought of playing TBC, as in, sticking around even when Wrath comes…but now…there is literally no point, i can just quit playing all together, as i have no desire to play Wrath.
I have my reasons, but mainly - TBC is a great middle ground between Classic and Wrath in terms of gameplay, class design and such - just enough more improved than classic, but not as bloated and fundamentally flawed as Wrath, which was largely driven by it’s theme anyway. I played Wrath back in the day and anything outside leveling, questing, story and a casual dungeon run was just a miserable experience simply because of how the game worked. The disconnection from the core design philosophy was beginning to show back then, becoming extremely prominent in Cata and MoP.
So i’m sitting here, all depressed when just a few days ago i was optimistic enjoying my characters, characters now a time wasted as i’m supposedly forced to play Wrath. No. Am i suppose to look for a private server now? Is that what Blizzard expects?
Does Blizzard, to this day really not understand the classic community?

Signed the petition and shared in on twitter alongside tweeting to Holly etc telling them to read the forums about topics like this.
When Wrath came out, I took a year break and got back into it with a work colleague and within the space of 2 weeks or so, I was all caught up (even after being hacked before Authenticators) . I had no gear and no gold. Still, 2 weeks, fully epic. Cmon. Give me a break! Yea it was great but looking back now its a joke. I dont have the luxury time like I did when Wrath came out to dump into it and to be 100% honest, I dont/will not throw all that time into it again. With this, became too much with people wanting this and that achievement. Dont get me wrong, some people like it but for me, it became too much trying to get it then only for them to just decline you or not wanting it anymore.
Give me TBCC Era so I can enjoy the beauty of the game as I did when I first started playing it.
Anyone who says this shouldnt happen and to deal with it. Imagine being forced to do something you dont wanna do… dont wanna? Too much? Then do us all a favor, reply to something else and stop wasting peoples time!

Oh I totally want TBC era servers, but if we cannot have them, every other expansion would be better than nothing. And I want to have them despite not beings that big of a TBC fan.

I write several tweets to Brian Birmingham in Twitter, but there are no answers, it seems that they don’t hear or see us… Not answer on my tweats… I’w wait… But… Not TBC ERA? Not WotLK ERA? Game going on two round? But… It’s classic or actually WoW number two? Unknown… Blizzard like to step on a rake a second time…
And news: “The WoW: Burning Crusade Classic Character Clone Service is Retiring Soon”. Why do they do it? I don’t understand the motives of this company…
Why? Why it’s big problem open ONE SERVER ERA and open option CLONE CHARACTER? As I understand it, they spat on our community

Hello. I agree but i deleted my sub already. Me and my bf and father and sister and her bf too. We just had too much angryness over blizzard sttement that TBC will not be allowed. We do not want WOTLK. And we want to decide what to do with our free time, we do not want to be forced to do some thing like some robots. Blizzard (Activision) have no power over us i feel like they are fel…I don’t understand why they should order us anything, that’s why we decided to NOT support them financially anymore. And because official statement of blizzard employe was, we will have to let TBC players go back private servers" well yea. That actually better option, cuz private server give you time you want use in TBC. One, two, five years or maybe all your life, it depends on you, not on that company.

Two servers (One of each type, discounting RP which should just be folded into the PvE and PvP ‘megaserver’ as Classic RP is basically dead thanks to Blizzard mismanagement) would be enough and probably be relatively healthy even going into Wrath.
Classic era could do with a similar condensing so that it can also thrive.
Let’s just have a small amount of servers to act as a museum to our character’s progress.

If I could decide, 2 of each type, one full/medium and one alomst empty. We have more communities with different playstyles, why not cater to both?
And Era servers are already merged. one PvE cluster for the active crew, the RP server for the anti-socials
We could ask for a merging of the 2 PvP clusters 
Then they woulld be the same way.
