yo fawaka man neef
Started playing classic TBC so i could atleast keep playing TBC classic with a few friends of mine when Wotlk cames out. We realy need TBC era servers “or atleast one”
Hope blizzard will read this thread!!!
Bump this thread.
no TBC = no Subscription.
No TBC era could also mean no WotLK era.
Please be aware about that, even if you personally don´t care about TBC era.
Agree! I cant see the problem…
That’s what killed classic servers in the first place lol.
Agree. It should have been free.
- Keep LFD, Dual spec, Questhelper-in-map, Race and Faction changes in Wrath Classic (but not at launch)
Give 2 Era servers for TBCC
Let the RP server Celebras survive
Welfare organisations do serve free lunch.
Profit ones dont.
We still pay our subs - no reason to be greedy and drive us away. I never paid for clones and as a result I play less and less and am now thinking of quitting altogether.
Short time profit is not always the best. Long time profits and most of all customer satisfaction beats this in the long run - a thing Blizz (and strangely many players) never understood.
We already pay blizzard a subscription. They’re essentially holding hostage characters people have spent days gearing.
Yes, blizzard can do whatever they want to make money but at what cost? These are short term gains with detrimental long term effects.
Enough, really.
Same 2-3 forum toons are spamming “era” topics 7/24, with their alts also.
Era thingy was a complete mistake and is dead long ago. Less than <1% of playerbase.
I disagree. It’s not a mistake. How blizzard handled it was a mistake. They essentially ensured it was dead on arrival.
If you don’t like them, don’t use them! Now please go play instead of clogging the threads.

Whether it is short or long term gains, it is their gains, not ours, we have nothing with their strategy or their wallet. They have whole department and professional
advisors educated and dedicated to min/max their gains.
Yes, we pay subscription, but in return we get: classic era servers, SOM servers, TBC servers, wotlk servers, fresh wotlk servers and retail servers.
Does any company in the world offer more? How can you ever have guts to ask for more free stuff?
The customer is always right?
And if it’s their gains why are you answering at all?
I have the guts to ask because it is sheer stupidity not listeining to your customers.

Not enough customers Im afraid, listening to few people didnt take them to leading position in the market.
They dont exist to please every customer, just big enough portion. They exist for profit first.
You’re 100% right on this. And they are just alienating players. People are leaving, that can hardly be refuted now.
A business like Blizzard has in general two ways they can make money from players
- Increase the total players who pay for the subscription
- Increase the average spending per player
Obviously having both is the way to go as a business, but Blizzard is going out of their way to milk as much money as they can at the expense of the player population.
And that’s their right, but it’s also the players right to say “enough is enough”.
It does not matter what we get because you can only play on one of any of these servers at once. And in the end it doesn’t cost Blizzard that much more, they just scale servers up or down depending on the resources required.
This isn’t an argument.
And this is just silly.
This is very rarely true, only people who haven’t worked in Customer Service believe this. Oh and Karens and Kevins.
They know people want TBC Era realms, but they can look at the Classic Era realms and see the low populations compared to those who play other parts of the game.
Honestly I think the population is actually lower than Charlatan says.
It’s the end of the expansion, of course they are.
Literally, you are right, but you can play more than one version of the game, you just swap between them.
You can’t know how much it costs them unless you working the finance department of Blizzard. It’s not just hardware costs.
So you haven’t seen a decrease in the number of players in general? And it’s just because “it’s the end of the expansion”?
You don’t need to be in finance to know how much it costs to run a server on the cloud lol.
If private servers are able to run servers on donations alone and offer a blizz like quality, I’m sure Blizzard will be just fine with one or two TBC era servers lol.
That’s my point, it’s NOT just the cost of a server. It kind of shows you don’t know what you are talking about.
