i agree with you 100% on this matter i just been to lfr trying to gear a healer and a guy with a high item level rolled and won 90% of the items i only won 1 with a lucky roll of 100 this looting system needs to go back to the old system or add a report ninja looter into the reporting system
PL gets you a lot more loot, but almost 90% of the time, you don’t want or need it.
GL gets you the loot you want, but you overall get far less loot.
Pick your poison.

PL with trading restrictions removed would by far be the best option and i really dont see how anyone would be able to say otherwise.

honestly, both loot systems aren’t good, i used to do full raid and get 0 loot with the personal loot system and the rare times i got a loot, it was a piece of sh*t that i had no use for
what would be good for everyone is a currency that would allow you to buy whatever stuff you want, want fyrak trinket ? no problem farm currency for 1 month and its yours
but well we probably won’t see such a thing happen considering they could easily make the loot system better with less RNG but they didn’t at all for years and years now, there seem to be someone among the dev team who enjoy seeing players growing more frustrated each week

That’s true, but it’s also worth adding that despite the frustration that may be caused by RNG based loot system, it actually triggers a psychological mechanism similar to gambling on slot machines. I wouldn’t go as far as to say that it’s addictive, but it’s there to make You want to play it again, for a chance at winning the desired item.
well paste a point of frustration i personally don’t renew the subscription i simply stop playing, we should be offered some solution to have all the gear we need mid season, there is no point in getting what you want when the season is about to end, if you get it at all

what we need is merchants selling all the available raid loot for tokens you get for participation in killing each boss on all modes.
personal loot aswell.
