However, there is no other MMORPG that even could match current wow pvp participation. Not mentioning wow is only one MMORPG in the world that even do any tournaments that gather even that amount of viewers

Back when there was no shuffle there were even 80 000 viewers and 20 000 were regular for even 6-8th team matches.

You can skip Shadowlands in terms of playerbase because season 1 and 2 have higher numbers only because it was peak covid. Everyone sat home and played the game. Compare it with BFA rather. Think how bad it has to be that people cared more about seasons with corruptions.

Doesn’t matter “Ascension WoW” and “Turtle WoW” existed for years but only became a problem when their playerbase grew. They grow because they can deliver what WoW devs don’t. Both are based on Classic WoW and if players are willing to play it to the level of Nostalrius so again it became “a threat” then Classic definetely is a thing.
First two seasons were Covid peak then “covid ended” and people started walking out so they didn’t play this crap. Shadowlands was extremely poorly designed and had many issues. Kinda like current season. Also unranked shuffle was added in season 3 so kinda it makes my point relevant xD

And you dont understand whats said million times by now in multiple threads for multiple years how shuffle and the rated system how its left right now is not sustainable. So start advocating ideas how to improve this for healers and how people have equal inflation to play with their friends in arenas than people have in these separate modes in shuffles or stop yapping about pointless things. Glad youre enjoying shuffles with your fotm dps buddy but as already said million times it does not matter whether dps enjoys it or not, pvp dies if healers have no good mode they enjoy playing. Hence why people say it is not sustainable the state pvp is on currently with shuffles and deflated arenas and the outdated rated system after they split playerbase in multiple modes. No clue what youre on about or what it has to do with this topic, I’m 2200 in arena by achievement anyway. The topic is about state of pvp and how splitting playerbases in multiple rated modes doesnt work with the design of current rated system. I have zero interest on anything what any ppl playing fotm dps in shuffle say however, nor it have any difference whether they like the mode or not when its the healers who will make the ques long if they dont like the mode. Should be fairly simple concept to understand.
You have never achieved 2200 in 3v3 the bracket that matters before shuffle people used to say the same about 2v2 why do you think you can flex 2200 in 2s and have an opinion but shuffle players can not?
People don’t play healer because it’s a boring role even when it’s strong which it has been since shuffle was introduced also the problem is not about splitting the player base with shuffle vs 3s it’s about the fact that there is 3-4 different versions of wow taking away all the casuals.

Shuffle has done more good for the game then bad I rarely get to play the game anymore coz I work a lot shuffle allows me to.
In s3 and s4 of shadowlands it felt really bad having to search for people to play 3s when I just wanted to log on a Friday or Saturday evening and play I still do play some 3s with friends not caring about rating and you can see the damage shuffle has done to the bracket with how dead it is but I wouldn’t say it’s entirely shuffles fault after playing s4 shadowlands.
Also let’s be real the only reason people played 3v3 was for the glad mount that’s why people enjoyed it in s2 shadowlands and complained for a long time after.
So I do agree with some of his points 3v3 is just clearly not working with current wow design maybe midnight will fix it.

People play 3s because coordinated gameplay is overall more fun than M+ clownfiesta of just doing your rotatiuon in shuffle.
