actually much less. because weekly 20s is done and then gg. and the rest of the “content” (not for nothing in clinging) is ruined.
even pvp sucks. epic bgs is super boring pve crap on super ugly and primitive maps from the year 2000.
I don’t add people either. because we rush 6-8 games after reset and never see each other again. Oh well.
Blizzard like to keep lying about solo shuffle queue that average was supppsrd to be at 5 or 7 mins, but we spent 1 hour of queue until the match appeared
Why not? There’s all sorts of people playing, different ages, different stages in life, different situations.
Dragonflight isn’t particularly crowded but there are people around. At the moment even our small group of 3 connected realms don’t seem often to be sharded with other realms. The two things that do seem sparse are, firstly, crafting orders which are normally zero and, secondly, buyers in the AH. I’m mainly selling old patterns and gear but sales don’t often take place.
Was up at obsidian citadel this evening. (7-8 p.m.)
And I was the only one there, so could go in peace and kill rare’s.
There are many in the city itself, but all around it is quite empty after 6 pm
I think most people (myself included) mean it the other way around.
Designing only with the top dogs in mind.
There is less and less content outside M+. Partly because the game got easier, partly because quests are more streamlined, party because there are fewer zones. Zones take a lot longer in old editions (classic-bc-wlk) than retail. Zone count shrunk gradually over time.
And this week a surprising number of threads have arisen with the common theme: this is an MMO, it’s all about group content. Leveling shall be removed, world is pointless, etc. Reminds me of how Diablo 3 changed from story mode to the rift grinder it is today.
And absolutely nobody understands when I say I play for fun, not for the rewards. Discussing stuff like locking level to finish zones or staying in Chromie time, people simply just don’t understand. Anymore.
I think this is a key motive.
Not specifically you, just had to quote someone.
On one hand, we have a sub and weekly chores, making people feel they have to log in.
But do people enjoy what they do?
People argued WoW is the best game in the market, but if GW2 players simply replay for the fun of it while WoW players only play to get their next crack fix of an extra item level, then there isn’t much hope.
And people feel the need to keep crying about it why? Because it’s not worth the sub?
Are we paying the sub to get an automatic iLevel increase? Oooookay, isn’t that literal pay to win expectation?
I think without the sub people would be a lot more relaxed and play if they actually want to, resulting in a healthier state overall.
i have definitely noticed a drop in players since the last time i played. At times it actually seems pretty dead. Shadowlands really did some real damage to the game.
