About Me

I’m Matthew, a 37-year-old residing in Malta.

I work in law enforcement, and when I’m not on duty, you can find me indulging in a variety of activities. I’m passionate about football, love capturing moments with my camera, and enjoy camping trips under the stars. Traveling is another big part of my life, as I love exploring new cultures and places.

Friends describe me as adventurous, down-to-earth, and always up for a good laugh. I have a keen interest in technology and gadgets, and I’m a bit of a gaming enthusiast. I recently finished my master’s degree in Forensic Computing and Cybercrime Investigation, which I’m incredibly proud of.

Personality

I’m a curious and disciplined person with a strong drive for learning and solving problems. I have an adventurous spirit and love exploring new places, whether through travel or photography. I’m passionate about technology and enjoy staying on the cutting edge. My ambition to work abroad shows my desire for growth and embracing new challenges. Gaming

In WoW, I play both factions because I’m an altoholic. I’m passionate about collecting mounts, pets, toys, transmogs, and even trinkets. While I’m mostly a casual player, I do enjoy diving into LFR and normal raids when the opportunity arises. :slightly_smiling_face:

Besides WoW, I also like playing other games such as The Sims 4 and Football Manager.

Playing Times

I’m currently available all the time since I’m not working due to some health issues, though this situation will change eventually.

Looking for

I’m looking for like-minded gamers, mainly for casual play and chatting. I’m also happy to lend a hand if you need help with anything in-game.

About me
I am 24 and besides gaming, my hobbies include mostly reading or watching things. I am pretty much a cinephile and I love science (mostly evolution and astronomy), philosophy, mythology, occult. Oh and dark aesthetics, can’t forget those. I also love traveling, nature and animals.

Personality
I’ve mastered sarcasm, but overall I’m a nice person that likes to embrace the darkness, as well as things that are more cute. I also like knowing as many things as possible and I’m a funny person, even though my humour is dark most of the time, which might not be everyone’s cup of tea.

Gaming
I play both alliance and horde, but mainly alliance because I like void elves and draenei the most. Lately I’ve been playing more casually, but I do like running keys and maybe even raiding, but probably not higher than normal, because anxiety. I prefer PvE, rather than PvP (I suck at PvP by the way, but I am willing to try at times if there’s nothing better to do). WoW is my fav game, so many times I just want to stay in one spot, chill and talk to someone. I also enjoy collecting and I am crazy about transmogs, so I am always up to help anyone get a mount, a transmog or anything. I also love doing achievements.
I also play Elden Ring at times, Destiny 2 and a lot of offline games.

Mostly all the time.

Looking for
I’ve been playing since the end of SL and WoW became my favorite game ever pretty quickly. I have also learnt pretty quickly that most people aren’t talkative or that they have enough friends already. So, I am here looking for people that would like to befriend me, because playing with someone you see as a friend is just better.

Hi, Norwegian 28 year old guy here.

I’m catching up on WOW and started playing through the Shadowlands expansion. If anyone is doing the same it would be fun to do some leveling together. Very casual player, mostly playing on weekends, and an hour here and there on weekday evenings.

You’re just writing passive aggressively everywhere. How do you know that these people are not reaching out to others? The few I’ve met through here were very social in their own ways.

Personality: Chillest guy you’ll ever see. I like to think I have a good sense of humor when needs be and I’m a good team-player.

Chars:

  1. Priest (Holy (Raid(/Shadow (Solo content and everything else)/Disc(M+))
    —This one’s my main, I do everything on this char, and I’ll admit it, I seldom do any PvE on any other character.

  2. Mage (Spec varies)
    —This one’s my second main where I put the portals to good use to farm Legacy content and do rep farms (until we get Warband reputations for ALL the factions in the game available)

  3. Warlock (Affliction(PvP) Demonology)
    —This one’s my PvP character. I only do PvP on this and LFR to hunt down the final boss mounts. I’m fairly new to PvP and at 1.4K rating but having a lot of fun trying to get better.

  4. Death Knight (Blood(For any tanking purposes and low-level M+ keys) Frost (PvE))
    —I only play this one when I feel like it. I have time for maybe only 2 characters but playing 1 melee and having a bit of diversity and a different class fantasy in my Warband feels nice.

Playing time: Really varies. Can’t tell. Don’t be shy to say “hi!” whenever you see me online.

Up for: Helping out in M+, Raids, Legacy content, Achievement farming, mount farming, certain quests, anything that requires a good healer and the average tank. Also maybe if you need deeps!

Other interests: I love fish. 10 tanks of fishes. I also like birbs, kite-surfing, martial arts, bodybuilding, billiard, horror content (movies to games) and anything related to music.

Figured I’d give this a go as most people I used to play with have new groups they play with.

About me: I’m Dhoobs, I’m 30 years old and have been playing WoW pretty much my whole life. I enjoy watching shows and movies on my spare time when I don’t spend it here or playing DA, Mass Effect or BG3.

Up for: I’m currently up for pretty much anything (Should at least try everything once right?). I’ve been feeling pretty bored with any content I do so I figured maybe it’ll be more fun with friends. (I usually only play tanks but I can be convinced to DPS as well).

writing this post is really difficult for me. The biggest challenge is to put my thoughts into words. I have been playing quite a few games and noticed some people playing together for a long time, partially 10 to 15 years. People that grew together and became very close friends, enjoying spending time together and just having fun, talking about meaningful things and having a deep bond that hopefully lasts till eternity. That is exactly what I would also like to have. Nothing that vanishes in a week, month or a year, something truly lasting. Now that isn’t so easy to find as it requires people to somehow “match” and seek the same and that is usually a natural process and a bit of a coincidence. That is why I am not sure if it is even possible to find a match by making this forum post, but there is only one way to find this out and that means trying it. At least I can say I tried.

So what is actually important to me? I would say honesty is the most important. Nothing (a friendship) will be real if it isn’t built on honesty. So if you are able to be honest and don’t sugar coat stuff (I prefer to get things told straight to the point), I like that. Also, a plus is being funny, reliable, nice, somewhat intelligent and open-minded. I don’t like to set any age requirement, but I am aware people like to connect with others that are of similar age. So that would be between 30 and 45, but I am not looking for a partner so it doesn’t matter at all to me.

At this very moment I would like to simply chat with you about things that go beyond surface level (I don’t like small talk) and if we match happily do WoW activities together, but I am in no rush and I know it takes time to build up a friendship. For your information: I am playing on the higher end and mainly enjoy m+ and a bit of raiding. Rarely doing some achievement runs or farming a specific mount, but with a good friend I would not exclude any activity.
