I am trying to get all the DF quests complete before TWW launches, and there is one called Power Unified, where you need to get a splintered spark of shadowflame, however I do not believe this item drops anymore. I have tried everything and can not get this item to drop.
Any advice?

Unfortunately I have looked at all of those methods ( A Worthy Ally: Loamm Niffen or Proving in War or killing bosses in the Dawn of Infinite dungeon), and they all drop Splintered Sparks of Awakening, which is the season 4 equivalent.
I think the Splintered Spark of Shadowflame was around in Season 2, but the quest is still asking for it. Has anyone gotten it recently in season 4?

I did check the vendor in Valdrakken, and he no longer sells it.
I think you’re probably right.
Having said that, I don’t think it really matters, certainly at this stage. Any gear made with that Spark would be unacceptably weak now, when TWW is about to start.
It is worth reporting as a Bug, perhaps.
Yeah to be honest I don’t really care about the gear, it’s just a quest I want to get finished before TWW. Completionist stuff more than anything haha. It will haunt my quest log if I don’t do it lol
