Hi guys,

I found in the terms of use this article:
“performing in-game services including, without limitation, account boosting or power-leveling, in exchange for payment” is not allowed.

Just wondering what exactly “payments” mean in general, because It’s not always about money, but also services (as a viewiers/streamer). Quite a lot of players was banned for powerleveling in the same way as Asmongold did yesterday/today. He obviously thought that he explored something new, but ofc not. But in our head this was bannable.

I am not blaming Asmongold to do so, I just wanna make sure, thats not against the rules at all and if we are also able to do that in this way.

I do believe the ToS statement refers to real money payments and boosting aka other people playing your character.
Mobtagging the way Asmongold did should be fine.

technicaly people are doing it for 10 sec of internet fame, so it is a service ingame for a service outside of the game so boosting

and why not ? does that mean gold selling for sex is legal?

for anny service not provided from ingame is illegal.
