After how terribly they handled the shipping of the Dragonflight CE, they’ve gone the complete opposite direction this time. The package will be delivered with a full police escort in an armoured car, similar to heads of state.

Missed out on the Dragonflight CE, not realising it would be a limited run, but i’m sure as hell not paying 100€ in shipping, import taxes for germany and the netherlands are about the same, so why the hell is there such a big difference…
I wish they’d go back to the old way, you can buy it in the stores in the countries themselves, that’s how i got my other CE’s. Skipping the gear store if this is the way they do shipping…

How is it 180$ on US and 200€ in EU ?? With this shipping they could send it pretty much from anywhere in the world.
So far my gift for 20 years of WoW is not buying the collectors edition, for the first time.

The german version of Dragonflight CE is still available, isn’t it just the art book that’s in german, and that’s 99% pictures anway?
But other than that I agree, I liked going to the store and picking it up on release day.
You have to add VAT of the State you’re ordering it to etc. It’s a bit different there. with all the details and such.
Just some additional warnings:
Check if you’re buying the Collector’s Edition from the correct site looking at the domain at the address bar:

Also, if you’re playing in Europe region, I won’t recommend buying the CE from the US Blizzard Gear site. Remember WoW licenses are region specific and there’s a high chance you won’t be able to use it in your account for the Europe region.

Every new CE we get new price hikes, i see the statue this time around so whatever but the shipping cost is straight up a scam, having to pay 100€ for shipping to denmark is not okay, we’ve had shipping from the states at 20$ before. Unless something is done this will be the first CE ever i dont buy because 300€ is just laughable.
Im kinda thinking it will be cheaper to buy it from the UK store and pay the import fee’s as shipping is only 33€ from that place but the CE itself costs nearly 10€ more.
At least we get a standard shipping instead of being force to only buy express but this is not ok.
Like why can we not just use a 3rd party provider? im so sure amazon would be able to ship this for a lot less.

shipping from the UK is 15€!!! (+ taxes and stuff) so why is shipping from within the EU so expensive? what kind of weird 3rd party company did you hire this time? last time it was a clothign manufacturer that botched the shipping because they used cloth bags,…

Usually arrives just before the game is out. I got my dragonflight physical few days before it officially launched, I had bought the Epic edition before getting it.

The price of shipping is absolutely insane. It’s complete BS how you can’t even purchase these from anywhere else anymore. 3500 SEK total, or about €350, is just nuts, when you could buy the old Collector’s Editions for a FOURTH of that price, including shipping!

im not worried about it arriving but payi9ng 100€ for shipping is not okay.
I was specifcally referring to if Amazon were to deliver it and the condition it would likely arrive in.
