Turned out there was absolutely nothing. All that to coax Classic players to watch it to a) Falsely inflate the viewership and/or b)entice Classic players to play retail.

Guess 1st of april came very early this year . And no if we liked housing we would be on retail instead of classic - you are doing nothing for classic wow players !
it was shocking for the customers who been paying for this game for 19+ years like myself. We dont care about non mmo Retial. its trash. there isnt a single thing thats drawing me back to retail. we fell in love with AZEROTH. we want to stay in Azeroth. nothing for the classic + community

I actually found it quite interesting to watch. No, maybe telling better describes it.
It gives you a little insight into the mindset of some people in charge.
