It is solo queue, not duo que. The synergy some healer/dps classes will have on certain flag maps are extremely op, they will pretty much be able to sit voice and kite with flag forever. This does not belong in a solo queue mode and people will abuse it.
I really hope duo is just enabled during pre patch for testing because it destroys the whole point of a SOLO queue mode. There are plenty of options if you want to play premade, 2v2/3v3/rbg etc … So please make it fair for everyone.
I don´t even engage in PvP regularly and I can´t see anything good possibly coming from this… With all due respect to the devs, why do you have to make this mistake yourself before you can learn from it? Because this has never been a good idea in ANY PvP game, to allow premades of any size to queue against PuGs.
If people want to do PvP as a 2 man, that`s what 2v2 and RBGs are for.
I’m also afraid of premades… Like the ones we see in random bg now with discord communities
duo Q will be the only chance to have somewhat of an influence of the outcome of the match. Otherwise it will be a complete rng fiesta
At low cr yes, but at high cr duo will just have too big advantage. If u want everyone to duo the queues will be very long.
Its said there will be healer+dps duo que and i havent seen anything said otherwise, i think its fair to assume its the design they want go with
That’s what it means to queue solo into randoms otherwise you will have an unfair advantage.
Unfair advantage does not belong when it becomes rated.
It takes away all the fun and purpose for them who really do queue solo.
It is kinda strange the name is solo and there is option to que duo 
And healer who que with some dps buddy of his will obviously focus running with the dps. Be it good for the bigger picture of winning the game or not. Theyre in discord with their friend and do their own thing while rest try somewhat play as random yolo and will be left out heals. Its dumb design for solo que format I agree. Best is to play heal self or que with some healer as duo I guess. Solo dps will be annoying when half of healers que with some dps that they will mostly run duo with and largely ignore everyone else and youre constantly wondering why are you not getting any heals anywhere. Well the two heals are with their buddies and the dps is saying them “guidances” in discord like “heal me” while he is not even their target and rest of team is 20% hp and dying. I can already see how it go with these duos when they just do their own thing.
For solo dps need to be perhaps rogue soloing on objectives or play healer self or just accept that the mode will be mostly healers in duos with dps that focus doing their own 2man game.
You need to queue with two otherwise everyone just sits in mid and doesn’t play the objective.
Why the hell would you want to just sit in games and take a ton of L’s until you break out of dog MMR?
A good player will climb in the long run no matter his team. You blame team but that means enemy team also is bad because they are someones teammates? There is no such thing as “elo hell” its just something bad players say to blame someone else,

Honestly I hope this bracket dies out as soon as possible so blizz can focus on arenas once again. There will be no skill involved since you can’t single handedly carry an 8v8
all im hearing is “oh no i cant get grand marshal for free pressing 1,2,3” as x-class vs complete randoms, this is so unfair.
Meanwhile shuffle is basically also a joke for basically the same reason.
Agreed, struggling to understand how the rating will actually work with solo bg, as you say, how can one person effect a 16 person game mode
2s, 3s and especially rbgs are kinda dead (or at very least far over it’s peak). As someone who prefers playing with friends it’s very hard to get excited about PvP in this game when the most rewarding way to play is soloq… in a MMO, mind you.
Other (more competitve) games allow such mechanics as well for a reason. I understand your point but other games proof that the problems of allowing duos are vastly hyperbolic. I just think that the idea of discouraging people to play with their friends is outright ridiculous in a MMO, this isn’t olympics.
“ELO hell” is generally when you’re playing at exactly the level you belong at but believe yourself to be better, despite evidence to the contrary 
The majority of people want to log in and queue for pvp, they don’t care about you “skill invloved 3v3”.
There is a reason solo shuffle is by far more popular than arena. You can live in denial all you want but in reality lfg is awful and solo queue is superior.
“Skill involved” is a stetch, also I like arena solo shuffle because you can have atleast some influence. Just needs more attention from Blizzard, but this bg blitz thing is just rng fiesta

Duoq is the only reason i’m gonna play this mode. It’s so much more fun to play with a friend and have a chat.
Afaik you can only queue with a healer as dps, not as tank. As a dps you can’t hold the flag for long as the debuff ramps up. You’re gonna get oneshot so this won’t be an issue and if you can’t kill a dps who receives +500% dmg, that’s on you
You will be in for quite a rude awakening. The populary of blitz will be like nothing you have ever seen and 3s will stay on life support, carried by gladiator title & mount
Ofc, you cannot single handedly carry every game in blitz. Especially if the other team is try harding as well. But you can make a significant impact.
