This joke will make people quit our favorite game… And whoever is part of a premade and wishes to face pugs is obviously a really weak player with no ambition or vision about the game… Imagine that : making a video or streaming PvP while showing 10 goofies standing on an empty graveyard and not a real combat ever happens in 5-10mins … BOOOOOORIIIIIING !!! go for raid vs raid queue and pug vs pug queue like in retail you have rated BG and non rated. And don’t even use the # no changes excuse … cause in vanilla wow we didn’t have cross realm BGs … we had us VS them all day and that is what gave the real magic to the game !! 2 teams facing each other. But anyway 1 strong team vs 10 ghosts that deny to ressurect is just pathetic… and will lead to the death of classic wow PvP soon !!!
That claim is wrong. Cross realm battlegrounds was in Vanilla patch 1.12.1 that Classic is based on.
It’s also the most dumb Straw Man argument because there are many extremely unbalanced and low pop realm that could never play battlegrounds without cross realm queues. There is even a realm with 99% horde and another with 85% alliance. These guys absolutely NEED cross realm battlegrounds; that is an authentic system actually used in Vanilla retail.
A separate queue system for pugs on the other hand have never existed in World of Warcraft.
that claim is wrong bodiesan mate, you never played original classic so you cant know that, there was crossrealm but we had battlegrups, whole europe was not in same bracket. plus we didnt have so big servers.
since that wasnt in original classic , wich as i sad you never expirienced, they can also put separate que system, since they altered game alot.

Right. Classic is >>based<< on 1.12.1. Doesnt mean that it has to be a 1:1-copy. And everyone knows that in many terms Classic already changed.

There was no european wide anonymus blob called battelgrounds in Vanilla. There were battlegroups of a few server with probably less people in it than a todays single server has. So please stop with the argument that those poor low-medium pop servers not gonna get any BGs running. And if a few server have a big imbalance then they can still be grouped together to a battelgroup to get a decent amount of players going.
Dont know why all servers have to be forced into one big anoynmus blob because of 2 or 3 imbalanced servers. The only reason we see this is because they just took the retail pvp system from the retail client they are using. And they dont wanted it to change back to a true vanilla experience cause laziness.

Sure, but that’s FAR from adding a new queue system that never existed in this game. Not in Vanilla, not in TBC, not in any patch or expansion to this day.

It was a feature, but there was no cross realm PVP at P3,4 and 5 so no one cared, because once it was avaiable everyone waited for TBC.
That doesn’t mean they can’t increase the honor gain for Premades so it would encourage the ones who premade a lot to benefit from actually PvP’ing and give normal honor to pugs, ranking on the long run. Marathon vs Sprint.
This would encourage the best PvP players to Premade versus each other and not farm pugs. Apply to Classic Battlegrounds the arena ranking system from Burning Crusade.
Let them compete for the top and show who’s actually the best at PvP and not farming honor per hour/per day. That way the pugs will be free if you want to chill in 5-6 battlegrounds and have some fun.
Maybe even add to Premade the option to createa team, just as you paid gold to create your arena team, name it, select the logo and then sign the gladiators 
I don’t know how fun it is to GV camp a pug with Dungeon gear or MC gear.

I have been thinking about this since 2015 when I first started to play emulated Vanilla. My Brian is working just fine. I have now enjoyed Vanilla for twice as long as it was originally available so I know what I want.

I can say though that playing on private servers prepared me for how people play this in game in 2020 though. Classic is a recreation of the GAME, not how people choose to play this game. Also things like Spell Batching seems to have been more Authentic on Nostalrius among other things.

You can say how pirate server’s people like you play this game tough. I never play vanilla in pirate servers and i’d like to enjoy my favorite game like i enjoy it in the past.
