There i said it, there won’t be any ‘‘easy’’ honor to farm because people will quit when the game isn’t fun to play.
Premade isn’t good or healthy from any perspective.
It sucks for those wanting to have some casual fun in PvP(vast majority of the playerbase).
It sucks for no’lifers because these people desperately needs to do something else with their life than playing games(looking at you marshal russian premades).
It sucks for Blizzard because they will lose their subscriptions if something isn’tdone about it.
The only remaining question is, why hasn’t something been done about it already, fix AB/WSG as you did with AV, fast.
Only a vocal minority seems to be aggressively defending premading here in the forums as if their life depended upon it, the rest just want to enjoy PvP again on a healthy none elitist level.
At the very least make a seperate que for premade, if they enjoy it so much let them fight each other(Truth is they just want easy honor so ofc they don’t like the idea, it was never really about the premade for them but the PvP gear rewards farming pugs all day )
It’s a legitimate way to design a game by making it punitive to serve as motivation for doing better. It also motivates more social interactions on average (although xrealm hurts this aspect). The sheer amount of proper premades focusing on teamwork is a perfect example of this effect showing clear results.
Also, you’re only talking about two of 3 BGs in total, so it’s not like all of PvP is harder for you as an asocial casual player. It’s just those two BGs.
They always knew “tourists” would leave. Meaning that no matter how they “designed” the game, there would always be people leaving. It’s not the end of the world, there are many games out there for asocial people. Retail WoW is perfect for you if you’re one of them.
The AV premades were a widespread exploitative behavior, under the definition of exploit in the CoC and EULA for the game. To queue as a premade when the game intentionally offers it by design, is not an exploit. It’s an apples to oranges comparison.
Read the other threads. Just because you make a new thread stating the same ignorant self-entitled moronic bullsh!t, it doesn’t mean people should be expected to need to repeat everything that has already been said as a counterargument against what you’re just repeating over and over again, the same as in those other threads.
That’s beside the point, many will quit as the current PvP Premade(AB/WSG) is a disease. Yeah there will be raid-loggers left and elitist no’lifers.
Another self-declared amateur developer, the game was designed for a different culture back in the early 2000, it doesn’t work today as it did back then. If the average casual(i.e player) were the one forming premades this would be a none-issue. A fix to AB/WSG is perfectly in order as most don’t want be gy farmed by the golden armored russian premades all day.
That’s 2/3 of the PvP, AB being the most popular BG.
Stop typing nonsense, the current situation in battleground is ill-adapted, it should get a fix like AV got. It’s not about being anti-social, it’s about not wanting to be gy farmed by no’lifers. If the vast majority of premades consisted of ‘‘casual’’ premades this would not be such an issue. Time requires a fix or else people will quit, simple as that.

If you truly did enjoy PvP premade you wouldn’t be against a separate PVP que for premade/pugs. That’s obvioisly not the case.
Read the other threads. Went over it a ton already why that’s not feasible as it is with the reward scheme being like this, and the impact it would have on the social design. It’s ironic for you to mention “time”, because as what has also been mentioned by others is that PvP premades probably won’t be as common as it it’s now, once the PvP rewards becomes second-rate compared to PvE rewards (AQ40+Naxx gear).
These two do not go hand in hand, it’s either
A: a huge number of premades, Wich makes you the minority so no changes.
Or B: a huge number of solo players Wich makes it rare to encounter a premade, therefore not a problem and no changes.
If it’s about 50% you cant change it because you make the other 50% unhappy and solo players can always play AV or wpvp, so no changes.

I don’t think that ppl will quit the game bc they are getiin’ gy farmed by premades in BG’s.
I was rank 10 in Vanilla with this hunter in the server Nordrassil and 95% of the time we faced premades in AB and WSG which resulted in our PUG gettin gy res farmed.
Neither I nor my Vanilla friends quit WoW b/c of that. Not only that but we stayed subbed throughout TBC and WOTLK until CATAFAIL.

I play in random premades for the last two days only because of the quarantine. When it’s over and I can’t raid (despise it as well) and can’t enjoy AB, there will be nothing to keep me playing. And I am not the only one.
Doesn’t mean that those who does quit, all quit for the same reason. It’s also rather strange to quit the entire game when PvP is a side activity, with PvE as its primary content.
PvP is just one of the most repeatable things you can do, alongside farming world content (or lower lvl dungeons for gold as some people do).
It’s different from retail where they essentially cut the game in half to “make room” for those who only wanted to PvP, by making it into a rating system.
i usually dont play wsg, just the others cuz i feel they are more fun, but the times i have played wsg, HAHAHA we have had NO CHANCE what so ever, cuz the premades just have a system how to camp GY and there is never any rez that makes the wholöe team rez at the same time so we are never enough ppl to break out, so they just farm wsg over and over the same ppl, often the same server, and no one wants to try anymore to play wsg, and there is always more Horde playing bg than Ally so its really hard to find premades, even if u do, the hordes have put it in such a system for so long its almost impossible to break their flow, so ppl just give up and avoid wsg especially, the others there is more space for change in tactics, but wsg is too small so there is no “room” for that… so ye wish u could see beforehand wich are premade sometimes, then i caould keep playing it since i want the marks for the triplet turn in
