Why PUG vs PUG aren’t “teamwork and grouplay” ?
Let’s say you end up with a PUG in WSG, you group sucks because you have six warriors, two rogues, a SP, a hunt and you are the only HPal around. The PUG you face has at least 4 mages and many healers.
Challenge is calling you, right now. What do you do ? You leave or you try to get the best of your unbalanced team ?
Most of the time you will be with noobs or idiots who doesn’t care about winning. But sometimes you will be with players willing to play properly like you. And guess what ? We won and it was awesome ! This really happened to me and I remember it more than the thousand boring optimised BG I chained with my premade for months.
So I disagree, if WOW has been designed for “teamwork and group play”, it also been made to have fun and great memories in unexpected moments. And I’m happy to say that my video game experience is made a few memories like this one. See you

Seems the drop off has nothing to do with people losing interest with PVP and the game as a whole its just normal drop off, Well you are wrong its because people are no longer getting what they want from the game FUN, but I guess in your life there is not much fun there is the all-important robotic grind.
We all know PVP is not skill its just a mass killing Spree when it comes to Ranking up it’s killing as many as can,. But where my view changes is when that becomes killing another player game FUN forcing them to leave PVP or leave the Game,… That’s a very bad attitude to have making another player game in parts unplayable is nasty.
Maybe they should just stop premade completely and make everyone play as a solo player that would bring back the FUN and it stops some of the STOMP all over everyone’s game fun to an End…
“Nasty” is a subjective term, what you think of me is as irrelevant as what I think of you. Objectively, I’m just a person that is sick and tired of the same threads and the same rants from the same posters about the same topics.
That’s false, one might want to try reading what I’m actually saying.
I’m highlighting the main points of your posts and responding to them accordingly, not cutting them off. It would be a waste of time me responding to you in several paragraphs because you wouldn’t know which paragraph is dedicated to each individual part of your post.
“Fun” is a relative term. What you consider fun, others consider dull and a waste of time.
People farm honor because they want the rewards; they want the rewards because it’s a goal to work towards, and getting them is very helpful when it comes to parseing in raids.
This might surprise you to know, but some people actually have fun whilst working towards goals and don’t enjoy playing aimlessly. For some of us; with nothing to achieve there is no point in playing.

Why on earth would Blizzard stop people from premading in Classic? Premading is a core part of the experience. Hell, forming groups in an MMORPG? A genre MADE for grouping?
People also farm Honor Solo and do it for fun and for the Rewards, Like myself but Premades have taken over WSG and AB you want farm Honor why not do it Against another PreMade and Let the pugs v pugs do it there own way that does not affect your Premade game?? Unless you are one of the Premades that have to go against pugs to win? See What I fail to see is what difference Pug v Pug makes to your Premades and only one I can see is you get a less easy target in Premade v Premade you want Pugs for a easy win, I played this game in Vanilla on a PVP server and Premade was not like today and now I see why its for the easy easy win over Pugs because against another Premade you likely loose,… So maybe that’s why you don’t want the change you need the Pugs to go up against to make sure of a win… A real player after a real challenge would go Premage v Premade for the challenge of a real fight.
Like that comment because the word is getting around on KILLING and Premades and the PUGS now are starting to die once and not ress and that leaves the Premade with a win and no more GY camping for kills less kills less Honor for the Premade and it’s best way to go.

The system allows groups sure Pug groups Premade groups but premade against Pugs is a total mismatch and you know it, But that’s why you want it so you can stomp all over the Pugs and gain a undeserved win

Because having easy access to the same rewards is an outright poor game direction. And yes, I am saying that solo queue is easier than premade queue.
If the queues were separate, solo queue would be MUCH easier than the premade queue. As it is in every single game that has separate queues.

Separate queues give people easy access to the rewards.
Separate queues then mean that if people want to play with friends, they are forced to form an entire team.
Separate queues mean that only a small handful of premades can win, and every other casual premade has to disband and play solo.
Separate queues mean easier access to honor for botters and leechers.
Same queues? Puggers cry. A few puggers crying is less damaging overall than everything I listed.
This isn’t Vanilla. It took people in Vanilla months to down Rag: it took Classic 1 week. Nobody in Vanilla ever downed Hakkar with all his High Priests still up: Classic did it on the first day.

If people wanted a challenge, they wouldn’t play Classic. This game isn’t about a “challenge”.

1 and a half hour AV queue , and i get Dced for 10 seconds till i log back in and my queue is gone. This game is just pathetic, a simple fix like this is not hard and it shouldnt be there in the first place. Now i just wasted 1 and a half hour for the incompetence of this trash company.
Quite frankly, after seeing the “fixes” blizzard have put into classic, everyone should be hardcore #nochanges
Black lotus fix, didn’t fix the issue, it just created more lotus to farm for the botters.
30 instance cap didn’t fix the issue, it just means botters cycle servers.
AV premade nerf fixed the issue of premading with the side-effect that horde win 90% of AVs, and get steamrolled by premades in AB/WSG all day. Which, ironically was one of the horde’s major arguments against AV premades “Premades are for AB/WSG not for AV”
Locking megaservers, didn’t accomplish what Blizzard wanting, namely forcing people off megaservers over to underpopulated servers.
I’m hard pressed to think of a fix that Blizzard implemented in classic that actually accomplished what they intended and didn’t have severe consequences.
Part of the reason why horde queues were decent in AV before the premade nerf, and are currently decent in AB/WSG is that premades run fast games. Like it or not, alliance premades in AV was good for the horde, good for the alliance in the premades, but it sucked for alliance in the pug queue who ended up in 10 v 40 games.
To answer the OP, I suspect it will reduce a bit once AQ is out and you can get R14 equivalent gear in AQ. The unfortunately side-effect there is that horde queues will go up, substantially when there aren’t a ton of alliance premades doing 6 minute games in AB and WSG. You will get your 90% winrate there too eventually when those BGs are reduced to green geared alts looking for rep plus meme specs and bads who can’t get into an AQ guild.
Something else i have mentioned that keeps happening to me is i keep getting disconected as mentioned in a previous reply, it had gotten better the past few weeks and i thought it had “fixed” itself i was wrong. Now i get dced in nearly 4/5 AVs i will do and i keep geting dced when the Queue pops up and i miss it, i have missed over 10 queues the past 2 weeks over this. Meaning wasted a good 10 hours worth of queues. Seriously blizzard you are a joke, and trash of a company cant even fix something like this and we just sit here and waste our time.
