People are even getting dmca claims for showing art work from famous paintings in their videos now.
Not to get involved, but I’m going to be real blunt here and say that you have some issues if you get this upset over being killed (presumeably in WM) while AFK and having an emote for it. I mean, I’d laugh if I got killed while AFK and someone did /kiss on me but hot damn my man, take a breather and consider the following: it’s a videogame.
As for the topic at hand? What Nnoggie is doing in his malding manbaby rage is against the ToS regarding addons, as Chronormi linked above charging for addons is against the TOS and frankly, it’s fun seeing the guy mald.
That said if the comments he got from the M+ crew weren’t nice I can’t really blame him for pulling it.

sry for my english ) , but in WA u can create ur own aura with toolkit of addon and in mdt i just cant find how to place mob mark on map ( maybe im blind), its not a problem to sell data , but it should be a way to create own data
i read that the enemies are in a lua file like a text string. You need to reverse engineer the code to understand how mdt works. you can not use the addon alone ingame to make it work.
the dude removed the text in those lua files. like the database.
i dont know but this whole thing is fishy and not customer friendly. blizz needs to react here.

well just use non updated version of addon
So far he has been changing 4 or 5 prior versions of the addon to require the same “subscription” to function again.
And when you take the sub, your addon can be updated safely.
But even if you would pay, which i am not even doing to begin with, you cant share your route to others if they didnt pay.
I truly hope Blizzard will take action and so will Echo.
This is beyond ridiculous and the addon page lists him as “main creator” and like 15 people who help him with translation / recoding for different regions worldwide if needed.
So i hope these people will drop their “work” what they do for him, because i doubt he will pay them a small fee for their free time spent on an addon. (The whole reason he wants to be paid to begin with)

So the guy is a sore loser for not winning the races and decides to spite everyone else(who uses the addon) by hiding it behind a paywall.
Hides the crucial data needed behind it so that its not a brute-clear violation ToS. Using a loophole in ToS. So we can argue if its against Tos or not.

Nop. Cause:
1st. The addon doesn’t work even if you were foolish enough to buy it. Cause it will still not work if the 4 others guys in the party have not bought it. What point it is to make the “perfect” route if nobody else can see it anyway?
2nd He made that addon under some license which allows peps to gitHub fork from it. The “paywalled crucial data” is already freely available to anyone who knows how to use google. So Nnogie is powerless to do anything about it.
3rd. The way how he implanted the paywall. Well. If he thought that he could get people to show “appreciation” by paying those 5 eur or whatever. Then obviously he failed. Most peps want to /spit and laugh at this jester than actually give him a cent. Any person who was even considering buying it, can now be possibly turned away from it…simply cause of his childish-tantrum throwing behavior.
TL:DR Nnogie has pretty much shot himself in the foot and destroyed what reputation he had. To spite everyone around him, he just cut off his nose.
