I mean, probably, but among fringe circles, you know. The general public seems to be happy with them though.
No, no, it was argued that not giving players bunny boys was homophobic.
Oh like this. Uhm… That’s a weird take I’m not even sure how to approach. Haven’t even heard about that.
Also, I just realised the boss fight is completely irrelevant.
Nothing would have changed if we just AFKed and let Sylvanas and the Jailer go about their business.
epic loot though
Even if they heard us out, I recognize that the team… Is bloody set in their ways, it’s been a solid downward spiral combined with bottom of the barrel drilling to the depths of the earth where you’d find a certain Sadam’s body.
I guess you really can’t teach an old dog new tricks.
unironically think this is really based
Sylvanas kind of forgot that the Jailer commissioned the Helm of Domination.
This is not a new trend sadly
Yeppers, let’s not think about how immediately tying non-mega macho males to homosexuality is the most common stereotype about gay people, these people definitely don’t have their own problems with them that they’re trying to project onto SE
tbh I’d rather Zovaal snapped away every reality and Retail just gets rebooted into Classic+.
Oh and the entire writing team gets the boot for pushing the story so deep into the trash that it had to be ashed.
As a boss on his own, the Jailer seems fine. A bit of a generic bad guy maybe, but not a big problem. It’s not painful to watch his part in the cinematic, in isolation.
Just an observation I made after watching the cinematic again. There’s absolutely ways they could have used elements of this expansion and made it into a good story. Shame that is the exact opposite of what they did.
For some reason I found his magic girl transformation into Sailor Jailer rather funny.
fixed it for ya xoxo
Anything related to Brokers is an interesting part of the expansion but let’s be honest, they’re just Ethereals with a diffrent legendary skin.
The Sylvanas stuff at least I can mock and laugh that. Anything that’s related to the Jailer is simply… boring because he’s genuinely the dullest antagonist I’ve seen. I’m certain that they will manage to turn him into a very interesting raid boss fight but story-wise it feels like the least amount of effort went into him.
I wonder how the story would have looked if it was centered around Denathrius as the main antagonist instead.
Yeah, I don’t mind the Brokers all too much. Think I also prefer their models to the Ethereals, I never liked them too much in TBC, so I’m glad they’ve gotten an update. Would be nice for the two to meet though, maybe similarly to how the Odyn’s valkyrs met with the Bastion people.
Broker, Ethereal and Goblin team-up when???
My man Garrosh being the REAL Warchief the Horde needs these days, going out in a blaze of glory, wholly unrepentantly noble.
Not even Danuser’s obvious hatred for him (ie look at the censoring of his dialogue to sylvanas) makes him look bad.
They had to kill him otherwise he was going to find Sylvanas next and undo what they did to him.
Still holding out for Exarch Hellscream ripping a dimensional gate over the Jailer and cutting him in half.
