While absolute neckbeards who threaten people over things online are obviously something no one will defend, doesn’t this happen to basically all big games?
Some debating I have seen around this has been using those awful people as a weapon to dismiss criticism, when as far as I can tell it’s a whole different thing.
If Sylvanas gets redeemed or some stupid form of War Crimes 2.0, I think my obscenity filter will no longer apply.

Pretty much that, yeah. It’s to the point where I’m just gonna go through quests if there’s any PvE merit to them, escape out of any cutscene and not bother reading quest text or dialogue. I don’t think this is a narrative that’s worth investing into when the payout is going to be so miniscule.
