Never understood why warrior, hunter and priest weren’t just standard for every race, really.
Every race can pick up a sword and shield (especially since warior is depicted as the most common footman to the most powerful Fantasy warrior) or a bow/gun and priests have been depicted as everything from medics to Priests of Light/Elune/Shadow to Seers and Witch-doctors.
The last time I suggested that I had the usual crazies (High Elves) and their backup dancers telling me that it’d be against their lore and aesthetics, and to hell with Void Elves having more Void features anyway. Instead it makes more sense that the more they delve into the Void the more they will be able to control and retain their appearance.
Because that’s what we have seen in this game. Surely.
In canon Garrosh dismantled the old patriarchal orcish ways when he formed the Iron Horde because he valued individuals for their merits, not their gender.
Natural stuff is copy paste.
Give us the zesty new hairstyles and jewellery/markings/mutations.
All hairstyles can have anything tentacle based removed so the normals can have their stuff, but the void delvers can get more… dark.
They’ll demand a faction for themselves. Have Elves suddenly reproducing en masse and then lead a glorious war where humans and all lowbornes are enslaved.

That’s just from TBC alone. I will never give up the opportunity to highlight the absurdly high amount of items that exist in the game files, ready for player use but not available.
I look at this article from time to time to just kind of marvel at the waste and WoWhead’s incredibly crappy editorial style.
look at how many there are, look at this tauren with a high tricorne hat, THE HAT COMES IN FIVE COLORS THEY ALL DO WHY
Every race can be explained in a way to essentially give them every single class.
That doesn’t, however, mean they should. A Warrior is more than just a goon with a sword, a Hunter is more than some dude that hunts.
Priest is whatever they’ve never had so much as a sprinkle of personality.
Anyway, point is, can =/= should.
At most I’d say every race should have access to a class of each armor tier (cloth leather mail plate) but seeing as Lightforged don’t have a class for leather Blizzard clearly disagrees.
god i wish but im not counting on it because people crave their blue eyed blonde pointy eared human waifus
Tbh, with the BfA items at the very least I’d put majority of the blame on WoWhead hype machinee. Showing items off putting them into their outfit creator. They’re playing guesstimates but in a way that makes you click and assume that its being added in the game.
If not for wowhead datamining, the majority of pirate gear would just be neat npc items, without a side of crushing realisation that players are never getting them.
nah even before datamines and sites like wowhead became this big widespread thing nearly everyone indulges in people would spot this kinda gear on perfectly normal non-unique NPC models and seethe that it is for some random reason completely unobtainable.
I begin malding however when a site goes out and calls it transmog, links items and does so again and again. I think only now they’ve started adding we don’t rlly know where the t20 recolors are coming from…
In this case wowhead has the one excuse that is Blizzard making sure these models have a unique variant for every playable race in the game, because only a crazy person would set a team of modellers on that work task for weeks and then exclusively make human NPCs wear them
