Did they fix it yet? I mean, the “skip korthia intro” that actually just bugged your progression?
Because I’m not shoving more alts through Odyn’s eyeball poppin’ adventure with the hilariously named swedish horn.
I’m not sure. I thought that skip only concerned the bits about Ve’nari.
I’m not sure of what breaks but they might’ve had more luck making these skip mechanics not break the game if there was any proper beta testing being done.
Covenant switching still breaks the story chapter progress log too, right?

Another theory is that scar is where her soul got put back into her body by the jailer. That MIGHT be the reason why that mark exists unless they retconned where she got stabbed, which would be the par for story writing right now.
Rewatch the sanctum of domination cutscene, you can even see a faint light flicker there.

Should we really care at this point? They’ve shown that they’re willing to reality-bend so much to consider Shadowlands the end of some Saga, retro-frame the entire lore just to fit in this rando grey nipple villain. I won’t hold them to any standard for this expansion, they’ve already shown to have none.

I mean, I HAVE those, I think; I finally caved to get those blasted backpack slots ages ago (and to get rid of the popup telling me about them…) but… bleugh.
Wtf. Mate. I already hate I can’t create raid groups anymore. Now they’re forcing me to get the damn thing otherwise I can’t go to the groupfinder?
I will never add that thing to my account. Ever.
If its just to stop me from making dungeon groups. Yea fine, I can’t make raid groups atm either. I can deal with that Aslong as I can join the random Queueu. (even though I still think its a bad solution to a bad problem)

While I do use the Blizzard Authenticator, I wish they would let me use any third-party authenticator I want, like a certain competitor MMO.
I rather they wouldn’t force a authenticator on anyone… But who am I?

I don’t mind this change at all personally. I’ve been using Authenticator for years and it hasn’t failed me ever. On the contrary, it allowed me to log in while out of the country with no hassle, while before I got it I actually got locked out and had to use an ancient time card number to unlock it.
If this change will curb the endless spam in the lfg, I’m all for it.

I don’t want to use an authenticator either and I think it absolutely stupid that they are forcing the players to use it.
I have only ever heard problems that people especially in EU have had with authenticators- I have never in my life heard anything positive about them. My account has never been hacked either.

So it’s speculated based on what we’ve seen of 9.2 so far that
9.2 spoilers(?)
Azeroth is dead and we’re saving her soul from the jailer’s clutches which is why he has a big azerite meme beam behind him. If this is the case then it’s incredibly frustrating for us as roleplayers because we’ve potentially been roleplaying on a dead world for the past year (or perhaps longer) and we’ve literally had no indication of this.
Either Azeroth being dead changes nothing about the planet which is lame, or we’re going to have to adapt our characters to a world that’s suddenly drastically - and retroactively - different.
Kind of a big deal IMO if Blizzard are going in that direction.

If you’re correct, I’m wondering what kills the world? Jailer kamehameha? The Scourge we just kind of… left to rampage without any fanfare. Not even a “hey Argent Crusade, do you need any weapons? A bottle of milk? Anything before I go on a cosmic vacation?”
Is there any indication they remembered this in the actual expansion? It seems like something they could easily forget.
