An almost 12-minute-long video based on short textual descriptions in a datamined boss encounter.
I haven’t actually watched it, so I don’t know its content, but it baffles me what it could possibly talk about for so long. If I were to guess, most of it is rampant speculation, wishful thinking, and jumping to conclusions.
What happened to the guy? WoD, Legion time he made some pretty decent RP guides that I shared with some people looking to RP. Now he’s doing this. Lame.
I’m glad they put a big red arrow pointing towards Azeroth(?) because there was a lot of other things in the thumbnail to look at, so if they hadn’t included the big red arrow I would’ve completely missed it.
Idk, I think it’s down to every piece of entertainement… Eventually it peaks and either stagnates or declines. Mind you Dorons ain’t as bad as Nixxiom, but yeah, his content doesn’t draw me as much.
I don’t know what it is, but it feels like a law at this point that WoW creators eventually turns bad. And either ends up going down the clickbait/drama route, or the “lets troll rpers” route.
did the three attendants die and/or sacrifice anything to do that because they all seemed fine
“this is our purpose, to wave our hands for five seconds and solve your problem”
I wouldn’t be surprised if them dying/combining turns out to replace the Arbiter’s sigil.
“We dying is our purpose.” is something I could see them pulling, it’s in the same vein as the Dragons no longer being able to reproduce because killing their bro (Who is a victim of the Old Gods’ influence) was gonna go mad later was their purpose.
I won’t be surprised if originally restoring the Arbiter’s sigil was supposed to be the plot of 9.1.5, but a combination of real-life factors led the developers to downscale 9.1.5 and handwave [rimshot] the problem away in 9.2.
The alternative is that they actually considered “oh no the Arbiter’s sigil is gone oh never mind we fixed it” to be viable storytelling.
