As I’ve said earlier in this thread, the only outcome to this entire plot line is that Sylvanas has a two-digit IQ and cannot actually function as a thinking person.
They have literally made her retarded to excuse this ‘powerful moment’, which wasn’t even that powerful. Because anyone with a brain can figure out that it doesn’t make sense given that it is S Y L V A N A S screeching it out.
not even ONE PATCH ago she was telling Anduin to serve for gods sake. Did she just bloody forget what she said the equivalent of a few days ago? Is she really that spectacularly dumb?
Apparently so according to the Blizzard dev team.

So anyway, guys(girls), I have been thinking. I have this new story plot…
so there’s this ranger elf general, right, who genocided some tree-elves (based), joined cosmic satan in an effort to upset the reality (but was actually manipulated to do so), but then saves everyone. And she’s got huge boobs.
What happens next?
a new faction leader shows up but she’s got even bigger boobs. some serious badonkers.

According to the writers, it’s no one’s fault. In fact none of them are actually writing the story, it just forms on its own and they just cultivate its growth like a plant so you should stop sending such harsh feedback since you’re obviously a troll.

and the camera megazooms out into some afterlifehell where nathanos’s soul in some anima battery gets heartbroken
like, she hasn’t been under domination magic at all, she really should’ve just doubled down on being evil and then we kill her

It’s really on brand for her usual behaviour of supposedly advocating free will but practicing slavery, coercion and tyranny. Everyone else can serve, Zovaal but not I.
If the writing attributes all her wicked ways to having half a soul until now, I’ll be so grumpy.

Dark rangers used to be banshees possessing corpses like Sylvanas. But then, banshees are ghosts and ghosts are just echoes in the living world and not people’s souls. As a ghost, her soul and indeed entire self was absent. Sylvanas was fake all along. A mere shadow, unaccountable on account of not existing.
Someone, photoshop that scene in the cinematic where she looks up smiling at Zovaal monologuing his victory before saying the S sword.
