Allow me to write a report for the Council in a language only one of them speaks fluently.
At least after MoP the Horde fully backed out of Ashenvale and abandoned their outposts. Like, even if the whole Teldrassil stuff hadn’t happened, why would you be happy with your hated enemy still infesting your lands?
Honestly why they didn’t write these books from the perspective of Pandaren explorers or the likes is beyond me.
Sashenvale*
Yeah, that really doesn’t make any sense. The Army of the Black Moon retook Darkshore, and then partook in (what was going to be) Siege of Org. 2.0. You’d think they’d demolish a lumber camp and a small wooden fort along the way?
Even if they didn’t, that the Horde is allowed to stay there afterwards is crazy dumb. And them being surprised that the Elves don’t like it is even dumber.

already retcon’d
Dang, Blizzard really be out here trying to retcon real life now.
That was quick…
The absolute state the current team is in…
And they gave Shatterspear Vale back to the Shatterspear Tribe, basicly giving the Horde an outpost in Darkshore aswell.
Gotta keep everything as static as possible, then they have to change as little as possible, when(/if) the new world revamp ever comes.
wait they WHAT
In the new Exploring Kalimdor book, Zekhan visits Darkshore, Shatterspear Vale, which is in northern Darkshore!
Talks about being proud of his fellow Trolls choosing peace(lol) over war and how they’re trying to rebuild to help the Horde again when they can(or something like that)…
Point is, the Night Elves are apparently still fighting the Horde, but allow a Horde Tribe to resettle in Darkshore, which they fought so hard over to regain…
I’ll dig the picture up!
No changes.
Only status quo.

here we go
What is this letter clipping, are these some fan made graphics?
Nope, not even.
All of the chapters in the book has it, apparently!
Good morning to everyone except the people involved in writing current Warcraft lore.
Good morning Kaitlinn. I also wish everybody a good morning in which they DO NOT stub their big toe on the corner of some skirting board except the people involved in writing current Warcraft lore.
So we’ve already forgotten that one time the Shatterspear Tribe invaded Darkshore at the behest of Garrosh.
And got beaten so hard the entire tribe was virtually rendered extinct and disbanded by its few remaining survivors, who later returned during the War of the Thorns to claim vengeance for their people’s fall. Only to be allowed to live in peace again. By the night elves violently opposing any Horde intrusion in their land.
But not to the point of driving them out, obviously. Can’t hurt the status quo.
